Together with Skipper Damir Zupanovic, you’ll embark on the fish-rich inshore and offshore waters of Šibenik, Croatia and have a great time chasing many different species. The skipper is a friendly and skilled angler who’ll do his best to make your stay on the water enjoyable and successful, so join him aboard for a true fishing adventure on the Adriatic Sea!
The boat you’ll be using is a 17’ Elan center console comfortable enough to accommodate 2 guests. It runs on a 50 HP Honda BF50 engine, uses GPS and fishfinder technology for efficient navigation, and features a refrigerator and an ice-box to store your fish and drinks.
Depending on your preferred technique or type of fish, there’s a variety of species you can target. To mention some of them, there’s Mahi-Mahi, Dentex, Scorpionfish, European Seabass, John Dory, Pink Snapper, Little Tunny, Amberjack, and more. Using light and heavy tackle, you can attract your prey by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, as well as drift fishing. You’re free to keep the fish you catch if you want. Just bear in mind that alcohol isn’t allowed during the trip.
Skipper Damir will provide you with quality fishing gear, bait, tackle, and a fishing license. Don’t forget to bring some snacks and drinks and, if it’s spring or summer, sun lotion.

Had an amazing fishing trip with Captain Damir today! We experimented with various fishing techniques, but bottom fishing stood out as we caught several fish of keeper sizes. Though the weather started off a bit windy, it eventually settled, making for a pleasant experience. Captain Damir's expertise and guidance were top-notch. Full Day Trip – 1 on 1 on September 17, 2023
The trip was beautiful and the sea was amazing. We spent most of our day fishing for Bream and other good eating fish. Then we trawled for sportfish. Damir was a great guide and made sure I had a good time. His company and expertise is valuable and anyone will have a good time with him. We caught 4 keepers and many many other fish. Overall a great time!

Full Day Trip on April 9, 2021
I`ve been fishing with Blue Marine Fishing on many occasions and I have to say that it was always a great experience. Captain Damir is a friendly person that will take you to good fishing spots and give you good advice if needed. On my last trip with him (in May 2021) there was a strong wind during sunrise so we found a nice, calmer spot to catch mackerel on sabiki. When the wind died down, we went searching for little tunny feeding on the surface. 10 minutes later we had a dream catch of 11+ kg Little Tunny...it was a really good fight with a strong and fast fish that is also delicious on the plate :-) I highly recommend booking with Blue Marine Fishing, it will surely be an amazing experience.

We had a fantastic day with Damir, even when we did not catch that huge amount of fish. But one Mahi Mahi and a Scorpion Fish were still pretty nice and were just perfect for dinner. We are not experienced fisher, but Damir helped us patiently and guided us perfectly. Hopefully we can come back next year (at a better time) and go fishing again. The skipper was always eager to go fishing with him and he learned which bait to use, when to fish, how to predict weather changes, and other skills he still uses today, even though the fishing gear and techniques back in the 1980s were different from the modern ones. Skipper Damir is still in love with the sea, now more than ever perhaps.
