The boat you will be using is a 25' Sea Cat walkaround that can sit up to 6 guests. It uses a twin 225 HP Mercury engine with a maximum cruising speed of 63 knots as well as GPS, fishfinder, and radio systems for fast and secure movement on the water. The boat has also got a toilet and bed and it features an ice-box to store your fish and a livewell to supply you with live bait.
The species you can target include Bonito, Shark, Mackerel, Alligator Gar, Bluefish, Redfish, as well as Jack Crevalle and Black Drum. You can catch them by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, and drift fishing. All the fish you catch is yours to keep if you want to. Also, kids are always welcome on Captain Doug's boat, so feel free to bring them along as well.
The captain provides you with all the fishing gear and licenses, and will also clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost. Just remember to bring some snacks and drinks before you start your trip.

We started the charter out with an amazing ride out to our fishing spot, this included 5+ dolphins following our boat and putting on a show. Once we got to the first spot, the captain was so kind and patient with my son who is 5, along with everyone else. He was so willing to jump in and do whatever we needed help with. Overall, this trip was amazing, we caught 10+ fish and my youngest even got to bring in a shark! Even if we didn’t catch any fish, I would have still booked him 100 times over. He is so kind and knowledge and I would recommend this charter to anyone.

Everyone in my family caught fish, including sharks! Doug even found some dolphin and took the time to allow them to swim right up to the boat with us! I told Captain Doug earlier that this trip was a special one in that I had just lost my brother in February and his son would be on this trip with us. My brother and his son were big fresh water fisherman before his passing. The captain truly personalized this trip for our nephew. Gave him extra rods and extra attention. Even related his own experience with his dad which touched our hearts. With that said, Captain Doug has so much knowledge of the area and got us to the fish and we had a great day even though it was blazing hot!!!!! Thank you Doug. We had such a memorable and wonderful trip!!!!

Captain Doug has over 50 years of experience, 10 years ago decided to start his own charter company with the help of a client who thoroughly enjoyed a fishing trip with him. Capt. Doug loves to help people discover a lot of fishing and seeing their smiles when they catch their first fish. He loves taking children on trips and runs a lot of free trips for disabled people and inner-city children. He is currently working on a boat that will be specifically designed to suit disabled people.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
