It all starts on a 25’ Steiger Craft boat that accommodates up to 3 guests. This saltwater boat is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine and reaches the speed of 40 knots. The boat features modern navigational electronics and also features a private toilet, a cooler, and a live bait tank.
Choose whether you want the whole boat for yourself or share it with other anglers. Both private and shared trips are available, so find the option that fits your needs perfectly. You’ll go after all kinds of fish species, such as Striped Bass, Shark, Black Seabass, Porgies, Scup, and many more. Before you book the trip, make sure you can target the fish you want on that tour.
All tackle and bait are covered by the captain. The price also includes your fishing licenses and covers catch cleaning service. You only need to pack some snacks and drinks for the day.

We had an amazing time with Captain Ken, he was so great with my son and a pleasure to be with. He had a fun sheet to fill out with all the species of fish we caught, answered all of his questions (there were a lot of questions), we had a fantastic time. Thank you! We will be back.

Captain Ken Brodeur was the best. He has fished the area for years and took us to areas teeming with fish. Although we had not been striper fishing before, everyone in the group managed to hook up with fish. The boat was a great platform and very comfortable. We highly recommend fishing on Striper Snax.

Absolutely fantastic day of fishing! Wherever we stopped, from the start to the end of our trip, we all caught fish. Many times, all three of us had fish on at the same time. The Captain was on top of everything. Equipment was solid as was the boat. Perfect size for the 4 of us. I highly recommend Striper Snax Fishing Charters and we will book again. Capt. Ken grew up in Milford, CT, fishing the waters of western Long Island Sound with his father in a 19’ Mako. As a teen, Capt. Ken spent his summers working as a mate in City Island, NY, and winters in Pompano Beach, FL. In 1982 he earned his U.S.C.G. 6-pack license and in 1984 he upgraded to a 100-ton master license, which he currently holds. Capt. Ken then moved east to Mystic and began running charter boats out of Noank. From the early 1980’s Capt. Ken fished with some of the best captains in the business – learning from them everything he could. Capt. Ken’s fishing obsession isn’t confined to saltwater. After competing in local bass fishing club tournaments he found success on the Bassmaster tournament trail, where he won the 2003 Bassmaster Open Championship on Toledo Bend in Louisiana. With that win Capt. Ken launched his professional bass fishing career and qualified to fish the Bassmaster Elite Series tournament trail, featuring the top 100 anglers in the country.
