Excited to catch some fish in Lake Somerville? Look no further than Texas Aggie Guide Services! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Wayne can tell you all about them!

Captain Wayne specializes in catching delicious Crappie, and White Bass, using light tackle, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area. You’re welcome to bring home some of the fish you catch, assuming they meet regulations. Capt. Wayne can even clean your catch for you. Bring a cooler ready in the car!

Children are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. A few items you’ll want to bring include sunglasses, snacks, drinks, and sunscreen (non-spray). Before coming aboard, you may be required to buy a local fishing license. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

Your fishing machine for the day is a 22’ Center console that can carry up to 5 passengers. Capt. Wayne will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 20% gratuity.
