Come to Long Beach, California, and have lots of fun fishing with HB Sportfishing! You and the captain can explore both the inshore and offshore waters of beautiful Long Beach. With plenty of interesting fish to chase and the captain's knowledge of the area, you're bound to have a trip to remember.
Hop aboard a 30' Boston Whaler 305 Conquest offshore sportfishing boat. It's spacious enough to carry up to 4 anglers and will provide a comfortable ride on the sea. Thanks to its twin 300 HP Mercury engine as well as full-featured navigation technology, this boat will take you to the fish quickly and safely. Amenities include air-conditioning, a TV, refrigerator, and an icebox. There's also a livewell to supply you with live bait.
The species you can target include California favorites such as Yellowtail Amberjack, Bonito, Calico Bass, California Halibut, Bluefin Tuna, as well as White Seabass. To catch them, you and the captain will deep sea fish, jig, and pop using both light and heavy tackle. All the fish you catch are yours to keep and take home.
The captain will take care of all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait you need. He also provides cleaning and filleting services at the end of your trip. All you need to bring are your licenses, snacks, and drinks.

perfect way to spend the day

The perfect way to spend the day if you’re interested in fishing in SoCal. Capt. Hunter and his deckhand Quinton were awesome, they were super accomodating and made sure we got fish. We will definitely be using their services again to try fishing for other species when they’re in season. we caught a good variety today, did a bit of reef fishing and tried to go for halibut. overall it was an excellent experience. would highly recommend.

Extremely kind and patient. Especially with the kids. Beyond appreciative of that. Very knowledgeable and hands on while still allowing the kids to enjoy the experience. They took us out to where our son was able make the first catch of the day and then some.

We celebrated my son’s birthday on a fishing trip and had an amazing time. We caught four fish and even hooked a shark, which we safely released. The boat was clean and the ride was smooth. Overall, a great experience and perfect way to celebrate.

Great day for fishing!

We went out on a three hour afternoon fishing trip. Captain Hunter and his pops brought us to one spot and kept us on the Bass all afternoon. We almost hit our limit of Calico Bass as you can see. This was mine and my nephews first time fishing in the ocean and I honestly could not have imagined the turn out to be nearly as amazing as it was. The captain was so nice and helpful and they were so knowledgeable and helpful with the kids! The boat was clean and just beautiful. Overall it was 10/10 one of the best and most fun experiences we’ve ever had and we will 100% be going again in the future! I cannot Thank you guys enough for giving us such a perfect day!
