It all starts in the marina, where you'll hop aboard a 36ft' Sapphire Marine boat. This commercial fishing boat accommodates up to 10 guests, so there's plenty of room for your friends and family. The boat is powered by twin 250 HP Yamaha engines and reaches the speed of 50 knots. This means you'll have more time for fishing and less time traveling. There's a private toilet, navigational electronics, and all fishing equipment you'll need for a successful day on the water.
The main playground is far offshore and you'll have a chance to target some of the biggest species, such as Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Barracuda, Giant Trevally, Amberjack, Kingfish, Sailfish, and many more. Depending on what you want to catch, you'll use different techniques, like bottom fishing, spearfishing, and trolling.

I recently had the pleasure of going on a fishing trip with the Qtours team, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The Captain Saheem, excellent captain, knowledgeable, great conversation, lots of great stories, very accommodating, I have fished a lot in Oman, but have found the captain who is the best, sure highly recommend Captain Saheem. Seen lots of whales this time out. Absolutely fabulous day on the sea chasing dolphins, looking for the tuna.

Quantab is probably more into dolphin watching than into fishing - when we arrived, it took time to sort out who we are and why we are there. The captain we met was not the person I corresponded with and the boat was not the one advertised on the internet, however, the boat was fine and so was the captain. On the internet they advertise that they have live bait, but no- captain said, only in summer. So we trolled with artificial baits. By the way, I booked the trip for 8 people, but there were 4 rods only. To be fair, the captain tried hard. We followed a large school of dolphins (really nice), sea birds - both indicate schools of fish, which are followed by predators that trollers like we are after. He gave an extra half hour - but no catch or bite this time. Overall, fishing is, of course, unpredictable. Yet, I would say based on experience, live bait makes a huge difference, and if you do not have it, you should not advertise that you do.
Great day of fishing! We caught a Tuna, 2 Bonitos, 3 snappers and a barracuda! The captain was very friendly. I took my two kids who are 4 and 8 yrs old and they had a blast. The weather was nice and the sea was calm Highly recommended!
