Musicman Sportfishing Charters 

The crew was great and we had a great time making memories with family. Fish didn't want to join us but we will go back again and do better.

Went with captain Dave and took the kids and a friend, The crew was super fun and friendly, we caught a ton of fish. They cleaned up the fish and put the fillets in bags my freezer is slam full! Absolutely recommend these guys. I’m definitely going again with them this summer, even my 19 year old daughter wants to go again!

From the moment I booked the trip, Captain David was very responsive and answered any questions that we had. We booked a 6 hour trip for our 6 family members and we were a little nervous about bringing our 9 year old daughter on her first deep sea fishing trip. Thankfully the seas were pretty calm, but more importantly Captain David and Hunter did a great job of making her feel at home and comfortable. The boat is very spacious and Hunter does a great job at keeping it organized, clean, and making sure that the tackle is ready to go. Captain David put us on the fish!! We caught 8 amberjacks (released 2), a barracuda, a couple of groupers that got the better of us under the rock ledge, and 2 Spanish Mackerels. The mackerels were a nice bonus as Captain David put my daughter on those so she could share in the fun as well. We feel very fortunate to have had such a great day fishing with these two and can’t wait to get back on the water with them again. Awesome job👍

Amazing day on the water led by the experienced captain and his crew, Hunter. We were brought out to a popular fishing spot, but our Captain was great about keeping us close, but also giving us some distance so we didn’t feel on top of everyone else and it paid off with us ultimately catching the max amount for the day of mackerel. Would definitely use this charter again another time of year based on their skill, knowledge, and experience, in order to catch other types of fish.

Looking back on my trip I feel better that I went with these guys than one of the large group charters. Aside from being very polite hosts these guys went out or their way to make sure that I and my sons got to experience some real deep sea fishing. Capt Dave and his son Hunter got the boat positioned where the fish were and offered advice and instruction on how to reel in these 25Lb Amber Jacks. Because we weren’t part of a larger charter these guys made sure that we were constantly over the particular schools of fish "we" wanted to fish for. Hardware wise there was plenty of fishing equipment available, the boat was very clean and well kept. There was plenty of bait available to fish for whatever we wanted and they even asked what kind of music we would like to listen to while we fished. What a great experience with Captin Dave. Right from the booking of the the trip 3 weeks in advance to when we left. Very clean boat and professional service. Went for mackeral but caught a few blues. All and all, highly recommended if you are in the carolina beach area. Thanks to Carl for keeping lines in yhe water and fish in the boat, and filleted every up beautifully. Thank you guys for the great experience

Only way to describe this trip was AWESOME. Limited out on gags, caught A few nice keeper black bass, 20 gray snappers & of course 9 American Red Snappers which was released because next weekend is the only 2 days that we have available to keep. JUST AWESOME JOB ALL THE WAY AROUND. DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FISHING WITH THIS FATHER AND SON DUOS. THANKS FOR A TRIP NONE OF US WILL EVER FORGET!!!!!!

Spur of the moment booking turned into a great experience with Captain Dave’s father and son team. My wife and I loved the boat and the fishing platform. She basically sat in the fishing chair the entire time while we fed her poles to reel in lol. She felt like a fishing princess, but I got the big one of the day! Def recommend this fish catching duo they were amazing.
