Sea Born Fishing - Fishing Tales
‘Only good things can come from combining fun and passion’ is the motto of Sea Born Fishing, operating out of breathtaking San Juan, Puerto Rico. Professional and passionate, they will provide you with the most incredible game fishing experience only 20 minutes away from the harbor, where the waters are over 600’ deep.
Captain Alex Obén owns and operates the lovely “Fishing Tales,” a 45’ Hatteras flybridge boat that can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. This beauty was completely remodeled in 2018, with new electronics, interior, paint job, engine works, and many other things done.
The Fishing Tales features a professional fighting chair and top-notch navigational and safety equipment. It comes powered by twin Detroit Diesel motors, 550 HP each, and features a restroom, shower, kitchen, and outriggers. This is not just your average fishing boat – you’ll be able to enjoy the comforts of home while fishing thanks to air-conditioning, TV, refrigerator, and a multimedia system on board.
You won’t spend any time traveling to the best fishing grounds – all the big game species are abundant in the waters only 20 minutes from the docks. The captain will do everything to put you on that trophy Marlin, Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, Tuna, and whatever else your heart desires.
He’ll provide you with high-end fishing gear, live bait (when available), and lures; you just have to bring your own tackle if you want to go fly fishing. The first mate will clean and fillet your hard earned catch, so gratuity for his efforts is very appreciated. You’ll also be provided with delicious snacks and drinks, such as chips, Doritos, beer, and sodas. Luch can be available upon request on full-day trips but please note that this option is charged extra.
