Apex Predator Sportfishing

My brother is a business man and had some clients in town and wanted to impress them with some Florida fishing. We chartered Apex Predator because we had heard the captain knew what he was doing and could bring in some winners. I was just looking for a day in the water but my brother wanted to show the guys a good time. We had a great day offshore!! Captain Gill took us exactly where we found some dolphin and even a sailfish. We were really impressed with all the dolphin and even a few king fish. The guys were awesome and you could tell they knew what they were doing! My brother has booked with them a few times now and we will be back out with these guys again soon. I took my sons on a trip with Apex Preditor Charters and we had a great experience. The Captain contacted us the day before to go over what kind of fishing we were interested in catching and made a game plan with us. The Captain and first mate were very knowledgeable and we moved through the day seamlessly. The boat was clean and the equipment too notch. I would highly recommend using Apex Oreditor Charters.

My wife, father in law and I had what my father in law called "one of the best days he can remember " abord the Apex Predator. Captain Gil had us on the fish when other captains were heading back to port with little or no fish (confirmed by the staff at the marina). We also saw a few sea turtles along with one leather back turtle the size of a king sized bed (really, no exaggeration, its head was more than twice the size of mine and I have a big head). The only complaint I had was with the weather man. He called for 2-3 foot seas but mother nature gave us some 5 -6 foot seas for a good part of the morning. Captain Gill handle this like a seasoned pro, however. One of the best parts of the day was simply talking with Captain Gil and Hunter. It was very enjoyable just getting to know the both of them. They are definitely good people. They didn't even get irritated with me when I accidentally completely released the drag on the reel and caused a bird's nest while reeling I my Mahi. I felt like an idiot but they just acted like nothing happened and kept going (they still voted the fish despite my dumbass maneuver). Needless to say, we will be back as soon as we can. Thank you again Captain Gill and Hunter. I hope you got that hay on time 😀

We were booking from Canada for a trip during vacation. Did a bunch of research and reading of reviews. Landed on Gil & the Apex Predator. Gil’s attitude and demeanor sold us. He was hungry to find fish and impress us. The fishing was slower than we hoped due to the weather which was understandable. Gil and his mate Hunter went above and beyond to locate and track them down. Finally he found us some Mahi and the rods exploded into a celebratory day. Thanks for the great time Gil & Hunter. Highly recommend to anyone. Hot tip - bring these guys a little boarding gift of some kind if you want to see them really burn it up. Cheers.

The crew were really great and so helpful. Changed locations a few times to keep us on fish and we all caught something including a couple of fine black fin tuna. Our boat did better than everyone else out there.

My family and I had a great time . The captain and first mate made sure to put us on some fish. I would recommend this charter.
