Top targets include Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blackfin Tuna, Red Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Swordfish, Cobia, and more, depending on when you go. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Children are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You'll be casting lines from a 47' Buddy Harris sportfishing boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 20% tip.
You can't go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
