Chac Chi Marina - 41ft Beluga

Boulevard Kukulcan
Cancún QR, Mexico

Chac Chi Marina has something for everyone who is looking for a fun day on the water in Cancun. Fish aboard the Beluga, and you will find out just how good sportfishing in the local area can get.

“Beluga” is a Viking sportifshing boat that, at 41 ft, has plenty of space for your friends and family to come aboard. Fitted out with air conditioning, a bedroom, a seating area, and a bathroom, it has everything you need for relaxing between the bites. And once you get to the fishing spot, you will find the boat fitted out to catch some of the biggest fish in the sea. With two fishing chairs, a selection of electronics for navigation and safety, outriggers, and downriggers, it is ready for adventure.

Come aboard, and you will find the boat has a selection of rods and reels for you to use to reel in the fish of your dreams. Bait and a wide variety of lures will be waiting for you on board, and once you get to the fishing spot the mate will help you put them into action, catching anything from Sailfish and White or Blue Marlin to Barracuda, Amberjack, and Snappers. Whichever style of fishing you prefer, the experienced crew headed by Captain Arturo Macias will make sure you are using the right techniques to catch the best seasonal fish.

Chac Chi Marina provides bottles of water, sodas, and beers on all their trips, as well as ice and fishing licenses. Round trip transportation between the boat and the hotel can be arranged - price depends on the distance and the number of people traveling. There is a $5 per person dock fee that will be payable at the dock.

The boat is in sad shape. It is not in the condition that the pictures show or the review of the boat. The ladder going to the bridge is falling off and is only held up by rope. The interior of the cabin is falling apart and there is no air conditioning like it says. We had 5 people on the boat and it was pretty much maxed out with the two crew members plus the captain. The girls went with us because it said that there was air conditioning but it did not work. This boat was a waste of money. We were out for 8 hours and only caught 5 barracudas and 4 Trigger fish between 3 of us fishing. So it was not a good day at all. I wasted the money on this boat and will never use them again. Learn from me don’t use this place.

Had a great time.  I work as a mate in the summer.    So I know !!!  Could use some better equipment.  But.  It all worked. !!!!  And we caught fish.
If you fish.  You know.  They call it fishing for a reason.  I think our trip went well!!!  Caught 5.  2 cow Mahi 1 bull. 1 wahoo. 1 white Marlin.
Was a good day!
Use a fishing calendar when booking if you looking for a certain fish.
Also summer months it rains a lot so your trip might get canceled
