Don't Look Back Charters welcomes you for a wonderful day of fishing on Lake Erie! Starting out of North East, Pennsylvania, you and Captain Shawn Barkley will explore the eastern basin of Lake Erie and have lots of fun chasing tasty and elusive fish. Pick a day that suits you and enjoy your fishing adventure on the lake!
You'll be fishing from a 29' Sport Craft cuddy cabin that's big enough to accommodate 6 guests. It runs on a 330 HP Mercruiser 5.7 engine and used comprehensive navigation technology that allows for a safe and quick trip to the fish and back. The boat's got a toilet, kitchen, and bed, and features an ice-box and a wireless trolling motor. Its fishing equipment includes downriggers and a livewell. During your trip, a first mate will be present to give you any help you may need.
You and Captain Shawn will go after Walleye and Lake Trout. You can catch them using light and heavy tackle by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, and jigging. You're free to take home the fish you catch as well as to bring kids aboard.
The captain covers you for all the tackle, live bait, and lures, and will clean and fillet your catch as well, at no extra charge. Before you leave, just make sure to bring your licenses, snacks, and drinks.

Our family had an amazing day on Lake Erie with Shawn. This was our first ever experience on a fishing charter and he made it the best possible! His passion and experience was evident as he went above and beyond to ensure we had a successful day and a great time. He guided us through everything we needed to do, explaining not just how, but why. Shawn also shared his knowledge of the lake, different fish species, boats, etc which was all very interesting. At the end of the day, we finished at the cleaning station where Shawn cleaned and filleted our catch so we could take it home. I would highly recommend Don't Look.Back Charters! Don't think about it, just book it!
We had a blast fishing with Captain Shawn and Rich. We limited out on walleye and caught a bonus Lake trout on the trip. Captain Shawn runs a safe, clean boat. He answered all the questions we had about fishing equipment and techniques. We had a pile a filets to take home. I would definitely recommend going out on Captain Shawn’s Don’t Look Back Charters.
Our trip with captain Shawn was perfect. He was an excellent captain who was prepared and was very experienced. It was a slow day but with Shawn’s experience we caught over 20 walleye. The captain truly went above and beyond. The boat was also very comfortable with a sunshade. Fantastic trip and I will definitely use Don’t Look Back for all my future fishing trips in Erie.
Captain Shawn is amazing. He worked really really hard to get us fish when they weren’t biting. I highly recommend going with Shawn. Super friendly, he will also do everything he can to get you fish.
If you want to catch fish, then Captain Shawn of Don’t Look Back Charters has you covered! We had a absolute great experience, and and crushed it by catching over 20 huge fish! Capt. Shawn and His first mate Rich were very accommodating and made sure we all got in on the action. Great boat for a family fishing adventure. Would definitely go again if in the Erie, PA area.
