Smiley’s Guide Service 

We had an amazing time with Smiley’s fishing guide service! From start to finish, everything was professional, well-organized, and a lot of fun. Captain Will was knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to help us catch fish. We left the marina and just about 2 hours later we were already maxed out on fish Whether you're an experienced fisher or just looking for a fun day on the water, I highly recommend Smiley’s. We made great memories, learned a few new techniques, and can't wait to book another trip. Five stars all the way!

We had a wonderful time with Smiley’s Guide Service in Rockport. Captain William was patient with our 5 year old and us as novice fishermen. He was able to get us one trout short of our 3 person bag limit and had several spots in mind for us to fish. If we caught a few gaftops, we would move a few minutes away and try there. This kept us catching keeper trout at 2 or 3 spots and having lots of action the whole trip. We would highly reccomend captain Will to everyone and will be using his services again.

We had a great time out on the water with Captain Will. When we talked the day before our trip, he told us trout was great and reds were not. That was the case for us. We had our trout limit in about 2 hours and looked for reds the rest of the trip. We did manage 1 red but unfortunately it was undersized. Overall we caught several more trout in addition to our 9 keepers. Some were oversized and some were undersized. We also caught several gafftop and hard heads as well.

We do a company fishing trip every summer. Smiley was great. Conditions were tough and he still found a way to get us on some fish. Hoping I can book him again for this next year. This is my 6th year doing this with a different guide each time and he was the best one

Great guy to be on the water with. It was me and my 6year old son and he was very patient with him and answered questions he had. We stayed hooked up all evening. Got our limit and still caught trout. Had a few oversized ones as well!!

My second time going out with Captain Smiley and another successful trip! Highly recommend going out with him. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back out again.

Captain Smiley definitely knows how to put you on the fish. We hit our limit with time to spare. He was very helpful helping my wife cast and baiting. Super nice guy. Will absolutely book another trip.

My family has gone on several fishing guides trips throughout the years. I can confidently say that our guide was one of the best! The boat was big and the seating arrangements were great! He knew all of the good spots and we were able to catch fish that we have never caught before, Black Drums! Catching these big fish made for an exciting and adventurous experience! We also caught a lot of trout and ended up with a good dinner haul! I would go on another fishing boat trip with him again!

Fantastic and super fun fishing trip! I took my 11 year old son on a half day fishing trip guided by Captain Will Smiley and we had the time of our life! Not only did we catch several large keepers but we lost count of how many fish we caught after the first 30 minutes of fishing! In addition to being a great Captain and Fishing Guide, Capt Smiley is excellent with kids as he is very kind and patient with them as they (the kids) learn the techniques of catching redfish, black drum, and the occasional string ray [the sting ray was not intentional but still cool that we caught and safely released one]. Thank you again Captain Smiley and we can’t wait to head back out with you again in the future!
