Discover the azure waters of Islamorada, Florida. When you’ve done enjoying the beach it’s time to do some fishing. Whether you want relaxing family time, or an active fishing adventure, J&FeXcursions – 26 has a fishing trip for everyone. You’ll be under the guidance of Captain Joseph Aiello who can’t wait to share his love for fishing with you.
You’ll be cruising the area aboard the pathfinder bay boat model from 2018. It is 26’ and it can accommodate up to 4 guests who can enjoy their favorite tunes with the onboard multimedia system. So you can find your trophy more easily, fishfinding equipment is available. The boat is run by the Yamaha F300 engine that can reach top speeds of 50 kn.
The charter covers inshore and nearshore locations that include reef hotspots as well as flats and backcountry areas. You get to go after a variety of fish. Depending on the season you can try your luck with several types of Snapper, speckled trout, snook, tarpon and more !! You can test your skills with techniques like light and heavy tackle, spinning, bottom fishing, and drift fishing among others.
All you need to do is show up, and as for the necessary fishing gear, lures, and bait – all of that will be waiting for you on board. And as for the Florida fishing license, the charter’s got you covered. Families with children are welcome, and the crew offers drinks for your greater enjoyment. If you get lucky you can keep your catch, and the crew will help you with cleaning and bagging.

Incredible day on the water
I booked this charter for my son’s first fishing trip. I wasn’t sure how he was going to like it, but it could not have been a more perfect day. The captain, Joe, did everything he could to make my son and I have a good time. We caught a lot of little fish for the kid and Daddy got hooked up on a shark! Joe was more than accommodating and an absolutely fantastic Captain. I cannot recommend this boat enough, especially if you’re looking for a nice, short trip to introduce your kids to fishing. 10/10 and I will most definitely book again when I come back this way

Great day on the inshore gulf
Early October trip 10/08 we are both experienced boaters and anglers. Went out for a half day. Capt Joe was very responsive to calls and texts. He asked what we preferred, method / species and he put us on the fish. Very nice boat and layout. Comfortable outing- experienced, knowledgeable good guy. Even though we were catching, he asked if we wanted to try other areas / species. Give ‘em a go!

Great guide
Booked a half day with captain Joey. He's a great guide. Super cool, friendly and very knowledgeable. He put us on fish right away. He made sure my family and I always had bait on our hooks and we went through a lot! We caught a lot of mangrove snappers. Kept 10 for grandma, threw a bunch more back and had one stolen by a big cuda. We also caught some Jacks and even a spiney lobster. So cool! Our only regret is that we didn't book a longer trip!!! Thanks captain Joey!! Can't wait to go again!

Thank you for a great trip!!
We had a great fishing trip and despite being complete beginners we caught lots of fish. Joey was very kind and patient with us and especially with my dad who doesn’t speak any English. My dad wanted to do a big fish dinner for the family and Joey showed us some great places to catch snapper and he had lots of live bait ready for us. We caught other fish too (see grouper pic) and just simply had a great time. We’ve could have stayed all day. We highly recommend Captain Joey!!

Half Day Reef
AMAZING DAY!
We did a half day fishing charter on the bay since the ocean side was too choppy, but we had an amazing time and we caught a ton of fish! When we got back to the dock, our catch was prepared so we could take it to a restaurant for our dinner :) Loved our time with Capt. Joey! Will definitely go back and schedule with J&F!
