5 Hour trip – Offshore
On Saturday we embarked for our second trip on Rum Knuckles with Captain Steve and Mates Sandy and Loki. Today we were hunting for Big Game, namely billfish, either Marlin or Sailfish. To catch one of these apex predators can be the quest of a lifetime; they are immensely strong and breathtakingly aerobatic. To get even one would be a remarkable achievement. We didn't have long to wait; a scant five minutes after Rum Knuckles slowed to trolling speed the scream of the drag one one the rods and two awe-inspiring jumps signaled that the fight was on with one of our desired prey. 20 minutes later Keith landed and released his first Sailfish, estimated at 7 to 9 feet. It was 7:05 AM; we had left the dock at 6:30. Within half an hour it was my to match up with a Sailfish, this time on spinning gear. It was an epic battle, with at least six jumps, but ultimately I too was on the board. The almost non-stop action continued with Keith and I releasing another Sailfish each, for a total of four billfish, with a Tuna boated for good measure. All in all our best billfish day ever. As Steve was heard to say: "this is how we do it".

5 Hour trip – Offshore
Captain Steve of Rum Knuckles put us on the fish big time! We had double and I think one triple hit and wore ourselves out reeling in four big Wahoos and innumerable Barracuda. Mates Sandy and Loki were professional and supportive when we felt like there was no way we could crank the Shimano reels one more revolution. The boat was superb, recently upgraded with new diesels capable of Destroyer speeds (36 knots) and very comfortable. If you want a chance to put a lot of fish in the boat and feed yourself for several days, Steve is your Man and Rum Knuckles is your boat.

I would highly suggest that anyone looking to do some serious sport fishing in and around Grenada book with Captain Steve and the Rum Knuckles Crew. The boat, the equiptment and the knowledge of the crew are top notch and second to none. We will defintely be back for another Mahi and more Sailfish!!!

Rum Knuckles brought us out and immediately put us on the fish. For the size and condition of the boat, crew and overall experience, Rum Knuckles was well worth it. Plenty of shade, clean, comfortable and with a working toilet, the trip is for all levels of fisherman and family. Captain Stephen and crew were friendly and good company for the trip. Highly recommend for anybody.

These guys are fantastic! We didn't have any luck fishing, but the crew took great care of us. I would 100% go again with these guys. They know exactly what we're doing. It just happened to be an off day. You never go deep-sea fishing with any guarantees of catching fish. If you want guarantee, go to the fish market 🤣.
