Captain John Hughes will take good care of you and he’ll do his best that you have an amazing time out on the water.
Hop aboard the Cabo, Offshore sport fishing model from 2000. It is 45’ and it is spacious enough to accommodate groups of 6 guests tops. The boat is fitted with a double Man engine that can reach 28 kn. There are many amenities for your comfort and optimal fishing experience. You can lounge on the flybridge, do some trolling with outriggers, and during breaks you can cool down with the AC while watching TV:
This charter specializes in offshore areas, and anglers who want to target pelagic fish will love the trip offers. Though the fish bites all year round, the slowest season is during winter, and also Amberjack is not always available. Generally, you can target many species like Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, and several types of Tuna. You can go after these beauties using heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, and drift fishing.
Don’t forget to acquire your Texas fishing license before the trip, since the charter doesn’t cover it. As for the fishing gear, lures, and bait, the crew will provide you with everything. For your greater experience, there’s an onboard kitchen, shower, toilet, and bed available. In case you need some help you can ask the first mate. If you get lucky you can keep the catch. Families with children are welcome.

Amazing trip! Can’t say enough good things about this beautiful boat and her excellent and very friendly and helpful crew. Hats off to Capt.John, Capt. Ryan, and Braydon for their professionalism and enthusiasm to make our experience one that will be a cherished memory for myself, my son and his bride to be. They put us on so many big fish we got sore from catching them. You won’t meet nicer guys than these fellows anywhere. The 45 ft Cabo express sportfisher is very comfortable, well maintained, and well equipped, and the air conditioned bridge and deck lounge area made the trip a cool breeze. She handled rough seas beautifully which would have been an uncomfortable challenge for a smaller boat. For a great offshore experience with the comfort and amenities of a sportfisher yacht you can’t beat the ‘Come and Take It’.
