Welcome aboard Dauntless. I'm Captain Janis, and I run laid-back, personalized trips for small groups who want to fish, relax, and actually enjoy their time on the water.
Plenty of shade, room to move around, and a full head onboard—so you're comfortable the whole trip.
Here's what your day could look like:
* Reef Fishing – Light Tackle, Big Fun
We'll head out to the reefs and put some bend in the rods. Light tackle keeps it sporty, and you never know what'll hit—snapper, grouper (in season), mackerel, triggerfish, barracuda, and more.
Fish for dinner, catch-and-release, or just enjoy the action. No pressure—just a good time.
* Snorkeling the Marine Sanctuary
Want to jump in? We'll get you swimming over coral, tropical fish, and clear blue water that makes it all worth it.
*Lobster Snorkeling (Seasonal: Aug 6 – Mar 31)
Part treasure hunt, part underwater hide-and-seek—and ridiculously fun.

Want to mix in cruising, a sandbar stop, or just relax? We'll build the trip around what you actually want to do.

If your group has anyone allergic to dogs, please be aware that First Mate Siba, a Parson Russell Terrier, is always on the boat.

My wife, son and I did a half day charter with Janis. She was great - very knowledgeable, skilled, patient and fun to fish with. Her boat is well suited for fishing and was well maintained with good shade for a hot sunny day. In just a few hours we caught Mahi, Grouper, Yellowtail Snapper and other fish. We have done many charters over years and she was one of our favorites. We will definitely rebook with the her next time we are back in the Keys!

I originally came to the Florida Keys to expand my business, including buying a larger boat for chartering and to more fully enjoy being out on the water. I particularly love reef fishing and lobstering. The adventure that comes with catching such a wide variety of fish at the reef is addictive and lobstering is just crazy fun. What makes it even better is sharing the fun and adventure with others.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
