Salmon Fishing out of Oswego NY 

Driftwater Sportfishing and Capt Mark Ledden has specialized in trophy fishing for Salmon and Trout in Lake Ontario since 1998. Our latest charter boat “Driftwater” is a spacious 31 Tiara hardtop sport fishing vessel located in Wright's Landing Marina, in Oswego, New York. This vessel is capable of carrying up to six anglers plus crew. It's a big heavy boat that excels in comfort, amnesties, and rough water fishing.
“I grew up on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario and know it intimately”. Capt Mark has over 25 years of experience as a charter captain and will do his best to make sure you have a fun and safe day full of fishing. The trips are typically 6 to 8-hours long depending on your choice of a full day (8hrs) or our most popular choice the half day(6hrs). While out fishing off shore we will be targeting salmon or trout depending on the season and availability of the species. June to September we are typically targeting Salmon but can also target Brown Trout or Lake Trout if the Salmon bite is slow. We are predominantly trolling during these trips using down riggers, divers, and planner boards to get to where the fish are feeding.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included so you can focus on what really matters, catching that trophy wall hanger!  We are Shimano pro staff so you know all the gear is top of the line.

Because NYS doesn’t let the boat hold the licenses for the occupants you will need to have a valid NYS fishing license for the day of your trip. You can get them on your phone if you visit or google NYS fishing license or go directly to NYS DEC website. Otherwise you can pick them up at most places that sells fishing equipment in NYS.
