Capt. John will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Snook, Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, Jack Crevalle, and Sharks, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, jigging, popping, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 22’ Pathfinder boat that can safely take up to 5 anglers.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

Great Day of Fishing and family fun!
We had a fantastic experience with Captain John! He took my two oldest sons and my husband fishing, and they absolutely loved it. They caught plenty of fish and even brought home dinner! Everyone had an amazing time. We highly recommend Captain John and plan to book him again next year if he’s available. Thank you!

Nice day & fun trip!
We had a nice half-day trip for the four of us & caught quite a few fish! We ended up keeping 13 fish and had a nice dinner that night with leftovers for later! John did a good job helping us & taking us to find fish. We even had to avoid a few 🐬 dolphins who were competing for the catch!

Our captain John Reid was phenomenal, taking our charter on very short notice & being prepared to offer us an awesome day on the water. John made sure everyone in our group was able to reel in a fish. We would highly recommend this professional & accommodating charter!

Great trip!
We came down to Captiva with two families. The other dad and I, along with our three boys, all under 10, had a great experience with Captain John! It was hot, which may have hurt us a little in our fishing, but we still caught a lot of sea trout, some catfish, some snapper and grouper, and Captain John was great in conversation and in patience with our young sons. Would definitely recommend!
