Come to Placida, Florida and join Captain Garrett Bordson on a journey to various nearshore and inshore fishing spots. He’ll make sure that you have a great time and help you reel in a fine catch. Your trip starts on a 25’ Sea Born bay boat that can carry up to 4 anglers. It runs on a 300 HP Suzuki engine, has got the needed navigation electronics, and uses a wireless trolling motor. The boat’s equipped with a fighting chair, snorkeling gear, and a livewell. You can use its portable toilet and you’ll have an ice-box to store your food and drinks. If you wish, a first mate can also join your trip, provided they are available. Multiple boats can be arranged for large groups.
You’ll be fishing for Jack Crevalle, Goliath Grouper, Tarpon, Snook, Tripletail, Spotted Seatrout, and Mangrove Snapper. The techniques you’ll use to reel in your prey include bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, and handline. You’ll use both light and heavy tackle. You’re allowed to keep your catch and as well as bring kids on your trip.
Captain Garrett will provide all the tackle, live bait, lures, as well as licenses and water. Also, he can clean and fillet your catch when the trip is over, at no extra fee. First mates and captains work hard to show you a good time. Tips are accepted and highly appreciated You’ll only need to bring some food before you depart.

Full Day Trip – Customized Trip on August 9, 2025
First off, fishing is fishing, nothing is guaranteed. But one thing you can count on is a memorable adventure with the Outdoor Adrenaline crew.
We’ve been heading down to fish with these guys every summer for the last several years, and it’s always a great experience. Mother Nature is the only thing that can throw a wrench in the plan, and even then, they find a way to make the most of it.
When the fishing slows down, the crew doesn’t just shrug it off. They adapt, change tactics, switch up target species, and think outside the box. Whatever it takes to keep the day fun, engaging, and adrenaline pumping.
If you’re looking for more than just a “hope we get lucky” fishing trip, these are your guys. Cant wait to return again next year!

We’ve been fishing with Capt Garrett quite a few times. Whether it’s chasing elusive Goliath grouper, finesse fishing for snook or letting the kids have their chance, we’ve always created special memories! And he’s always down for catching the sunset or dolphin watching.

Amazing Half Day w/ Captain Garrett!!!

My 9 & 13 yo boys & myself had a great half day fishing trip with Garrett from OUTDOOR ADRENALINE EXCURSIONS.
YOU SHOULD BOOK WITH HIM and here’s why:
- Garret was punctual, professional, courteous and a super nice captain.
- His knowledge of the local waters around Boca Grande / Lemon Bay, etc is fantastic
- He keeps a clean & safe boat. I would’ve been comfortable on this trip if my kids were both half their ages - Although we have fishing experience - we are not from the area - Garrett taught us a number of pro-tips and skills that we will definitely use going forward.
- We caught over 60 fish in the 4 hour trip. Snappers, snook, sea bass, grouper, grunt, sheepshead, etc. it was awesome.
- He was so great assisting anyone who needed help and also knew when to let the angler “do it all by himself”.
- The boat was spacious and comfortable and everyone could move & fish with ease.
- Garrett’s easy-going personality was a pleasure to be around. He made my boys feel like pro’s on the water and they had a fishing trip they will remember for the rest of their lives.
We visit grandma at least 1-2x / year in SW Fla and we will definitely be booking more trips with Garrett when we return.
On a side note - don’t leave many reviews on the internet. But we had such a great time that felt compelled to write & acknowledge great work.

Half day fishing trip

My 12 year old caught everything but a tarpon on his fishing list on our trip. Captain Garrett was educational and a great role model for my son. He is a fisherman in his heart all the way and he will remember this morning for the rest of his life. It was just perfect!!
