Starting out of Melbourne, you and Captain Kyler Doane will travel in the Indian River Lagoon to catch many prized game species that dwell in the area. Join your cordial and skilled captain aboard his well-equipped boat and have a great time fishing in this part of Florida!
Your trip will start on a 20' Pathfinder bay boat with space for up to 3 anglers. It's powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine and rigged with modern GPS as well as fishfinding technology, allowing for a quick and safe trip to the fish. The boat features a top of the line wireless trolling motor,Fish finder, an ice-box, and a livewell.
The species you'll have the chance to reel in include Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and many more. You can cast at mangroves, docks, and other structure in order to attract them, using light tackle. Please let your captain know what your goal is and he will do his best to accommodate. Also, kids are welcome to join aboard, so use the opportunity and make your trip a wonderful family stay in nature.
Morning trips are recommended for the most productivity and best weather! Your captain will take care of everything from fishing gear to bait to licenses to catch cleaning. Just make sure to bring the food and drinks of your choice before you start your trip.

booked this inshore fishing charter as a birthday gift for my husband, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. From the moment we stepped on board, the captain made us feel completely at ease — warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the water. The experience itself was absolutely fantastic. The captain knew exactly where to take us, and it wasn't long before the rods were bending. We pulled in a solid catch — the excitement of feeling that first tug on the line is something neither of us will forget anytime soon. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-timer, the Captain made sure you know what you're doing and keeps the energy high the entire time. What made this especially memorable was watching my husband light up out there on the open water. It wasn't just a fishing trip — it was a real adventure. The scenery, the sea air, the thrill of the catch… it all came together perfectly.
Kyler was great! He had everything we needed and took us to numerous spots to catch several kinds of fish. Super helpful with insights and knowledge about the area. Really awesome experience and will definitely go out with Kyler again.
We went out on a 4-hour trip around 10am. Kyler did his best to get us on fish, but we only ended up being able to keep 2, which was way less than what we had hoped for. We are not very skilled, so I'm sure our skill had a lot to do with it! Overall being out on the water was great, and we had a good time. If you're looking for a nice half-day trip with a nice guy, you can't go wrong here.
This was our first trip we have booked in the area. We were asked if we had any specific fish we were looking to catch, but we honestly just wanted to get out on the water. Kyler did an excellent job start to finish. We caught Tarpon, Amber Jack, and Snook. They were all first time fish for us! We would highly recommend Captain Kyler if you are looking for a great fishing trip.
