Your ride to the fish will be comfortable on a 25’ avenger by marauder marine that can fit up to 6 anglers. Powered by a 300HP 2019 Yamaha engine and equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology, twin powerpoles, and a 36v trolling motor the boat will provide a quick and safe reach to your fishing spots for a better fishing experience.
On your trip, you can target Redfish, Black drum, Trout, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, Flounder, King Mackerel, Cobia, and more. Using light and heavy tackle, you can try bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, as well as fly fishing for your prey. If you want, you’re free to keep the fish you catch. The boat’s kid-friendly, so feel welcome to bring your whole family aboard.
Captain Mike will take care of the fishing tackle, bait, licenses, and will even clean and bag your catch for free. There will be plenty of extra cooler space with ice if youd like to bring whatever other beverages or snacks you might like while out on our trip.

Half Day Trip – Inshore on September 29, 2024
Capt. Mike was nothing less of amazing. Ready to roll right on time in the early hours with 3 sleepyhead teens and 2 exhausted parents, Mike was bright eyed and bushy tailed! He was so patient with all the kids, teaching us all along the way and so informational in everything he explained to each of us. We went to several spots to ensure us that we’d go home with fish, and the ride was so smooth and beautiful along the way. Once back to the dock, he filleted our keeps. It was a super neat experience for the five of us, will definitely recommend him down the line and hope to get out with him again one day!

Highly recommend booking your next charter in St. Augustine with Captain Mike and Island Fishing Charters. Communication was great, easy setup, and everything was on-time and ready when we arrived. We opted for a half-day trip with 4 adults and 2 kids. Captain Mike was great with helping and getting us to where the fish were. We had an awesome time, and even ate our catch for lunch at The Conch House. 10/10, would book again, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful day out fishing with Captain Mike. The boat was so clean and Mike was so attentive to our needs. While the fish weren’t jumping in the boat, we had a great time getting the ones we did catch. Will definitely book with this boat and Captain Mike again.

We had a great day on the water and caught multiple fish, although it wasn’t easy. Matt worked his tail off to find the fish as we hit multiple locations. If we are in the area again we would definitely fish with him again!
