Fishing Offshore Noosa operates out of Noosa, in the heart of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, giving you a run to the productive fishing grounds of the Pacific Ocean. Hop aboard a trip that suits your taste, and discover the stunning reefs and deep waters as far out as Barwon Banks and Double Island Point, as you go after some truly prized fish.

You’ll be fishing from the "Trekka 2," a 32’ Cougar Cat catamaran, with room for up to 12 guests. Powered by twin 300 HP Yamaha engines up to a cruising speed of 30 knots, you’re sure to get out to the deep waters in no time, while her twin-hull design makes for a stable ride even at speed.

The boat comes equipped with GPS and fishfinder to make sure you track down the best catch, as well as outriggers, a live bait tank, and everything you need for a fulfilling day of fishing. Make yourself at home, and blast your tunes from the multimedia system, and don’t worry about getting caught short, as she also boasts a private head.

Explore reefs, wrecks, and the deep blue waters offshore, and try trolling, jigging, and bottom fishing for a wide range of species. Mahi Mahi, Snappers, Pearl Perch, Spanish Mackerel, and even Tuna and Sailfish call these waters home, so settle in for a thrilling experience, as they’ll all make you work hard to hook ‘em aboard.

Your professional crew boasts expert knowledge of these waters, and they promise to take you to the spots that will make the best use of your time. With lunch, drinks, and snacks provided, you’ll want for nothing throughout your time aboard. Come and discover fishing like never before with Fishing Offshore Noosa!

i don't usually comment on these reviews but after reading the 1 and 2 star reviews i thought i should to put anyones mind to rest that were having second thoughts because of them. As I was..... The boat is a no frills boat. It is made for fishing. The crew were very helpful, friendly, accommodating and safe. My brother and I took my 10yo for his birthday on a 9hr trip (that was long enough. haha) Fishing in 40-60m of water and did not stop pulling in fish from the moment we threw the first line in. There were no prize/trophy fish landed on our trip but shit anyone who has been ocean fishing knows you dont get them every trip unless you can get right out for a couple of days. So if you want to experience ocean fishing and catch a feed of nice tasty table fish then this did it for me and my party especially my boy he has not shut up and now i have to buy a bigger boat. I dont know if i would want to be pulling anything bigger than we got from that depth. or I'd need a nap. oh 1 thing. if you want a feed probably take your own... the sandwiches were not the best and make sure its labled or someone will eat it. hahaha

Didn't go on Trekka 2 but was moved to another boat. Trekka 2 was doing a 9 hour trip and we only wanted a 5 hour trip. Anchored up at 3 stops to fish and everyone caught fish as soon as their bait was on the bottom. Fishing in about 45-50 meters of water. The Captain and Crew put out a line or 2 out the back of the boat for some extra fun and fish. The boat ended up keeping some tuna and striped snapper/grassy lipped snapper. The tunas were caught on the 2 lines out the back of the boat and we were given the opprotunity at reeling them in. The weather was rainy when we left the dock but once outside it cleared right up. Hats sunnies and sunscreen were applied. Rods reels squid pilchards chips drinks filleting of catch and packing of the catch included. Great time had by all. This was our 2nd time out charter boat fishing from Noosaville. I would highly recommend it.
