Capt. Jack will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 3 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Shark, Cobia, Seabass, Black Drum, and Tarpon, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, and drift fishing.
Your fishing adventure starts on the Reel Easy. This is a 25' Classic Seacat with brand-new twin 150 HP Yamaha four stroke engines. With an 8 1/2-feet beam and a 12-inch draft, this extremely stable cat can navigate through skinny water or venture 50 miles offshore. She is a fishing machine that will make for a smooth comfortable ride and enjoyable trip, fully equipped with the latest electronics and top-of-the-line tackle.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

Was disappointed...Can't argue with Mother Nature- small craft advisory with 6 foot waves kept us in-shore. Captain Jack used cast net to load the livewell quickly with shrimp and we were soon fishing. Caught several sharks, trout, nice redfish (couple dozen), small flounder. Still plan to head off shore maybe next year...

Now on to the important stuff the fishing! Boat was perfect for a day in the inlet amd creeks fishing for the big one! And the spots were great, we hit a bull shark, black tip reef shark and a huge sand bar shark plus some skates and smaller fish all on all an awessome day! We highly reccomend these guys!

Even on a hot, hot, hot Aug afternoon Captain Jack landed us on fish multiple times. We caught several Atlantic Shark and Spanish Mackerel plus a bunch of smaller fish (Croaker, Pinfish, Sea bass etc). My college boys caught "instagram-able" fish 😂 and voted it better than jet skiing when stack ranking their HHI activities. Will go out with Captain Jack again if we are ever back in HHI.

As a child, Captain Jack spent most of his free time either hunting, camping, or fishing with his dad. During his high school and college years, Captain Jack maintained his love for the outdoors and you could almost always find him with a fishing rod in his hand. After graduating from the University of Tennessee in May of 1992, the captain moved to Hilton Head Island for the summer and has been a full-time resident ever since. In 1999, he became a licensed and certified US Coast Guard Captain and has since gained over 20 years of guiding experience. His extreme passion and respect for these Lowcountry waters are obvious and his enthusiastic personality, skill, and knowledge will result in a top-notch, fun, and memorable trip. Captain Jack is dedicated to help anglers of all skill levels experience world-class fishing and that is what makes Reel Easy Charters an easy choice.
