The boat you'll be on is a restored 46' Rob Meekins bay boat that comfortably sits up to 6 guests. It's powered by a 450 HP Cummins engine and uses comprehensive navigation electronics. The boat's got a private toilet, galley, large cabin, and equipped with a livewell. To make your stay more enjoyable, you can use a TV, multimedia system, refrigerator, and ice-box. There will also be a first mate on board to provide any needed help.
The lovely fish you can catch on your trip include predominantly Striped Bass and sometimes the occasional Catfish, White Perch, Bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel. You can use light tackle bottom fishing, live-lining, trolling, spinning, as well as jigging to reel them in. You'll be keeping all the fish you catch (within legal limits of course).
Captain Scott will take care of live bait, lures, licenses, as well as catch cleaning. We have a big cooler full of ice. You'll need to bring with you comfortable clothes, shoes, sunscreen, as well as some food and drinks.
Spend a day fishing in the Chesapeake Bay and create memories of a lifetime!

My husband, son, son-in-law, and our three grandsons ages 8, 10, and 12 years old, all fishing enthusiasts, went on the afternoon fishing trip to celebrate my husband's 75th birthday. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip and agreed that it was the best fishing trip that they had taken. Scott and his first mate made the trip a truly memorable experience by finding great fishing spots, understanding the various needs and abilities of the participants, and generally being great hosts. The final catch provided the main dish at the birthday party the next day, and relating the details of the trip provided the entertainment. We would definitely book again.
Capt. Scott and Candy are top notch. Experience is like fishing with good friends and not being on a Charter boat. The fish were a bonus to beautiful day on the bay.
Captain Scott is very knowledgeable and he works hard to put you on fish. The crew also works hard to make for a great time.
Captain Scott is a third-generation 'Kent Islander' and charter boat captain.
