Jose will meet you in Puerto aventuras and guide you on your fishing adventure far off the coast. If you want a safe, enjoyable, and fun-packed fishing trip, be sure to visit mate Luis as he has all that takes for a memorable day on the water!

The boat you’ll be using is a nice GradyWhite 2015 enough room to accommodate up to 6 guests. It’s powered by a Triple Yamaha 300 hp engine and uses a VHF radio for navigation. The boat has got a big room and is equipped with a, outrrigers , and snorkeling gear. You’ll have an ice-box to store your fish and a first and Second mate will come aboard as well.

The species that you’ll encounter on your trip are sailfish, Blue and White Marlin,(billfish season April and May) Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Wahoo, Jack Crevalle, and more. To attract them, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, using both light and heavy tackle. You’re free to keep the fish your catch as well as to bring kids on your trip.

Captain Luis will provide you with the fishing tackle, lures, drinks, and licenses. If you want, he can also clean your catch after the trip, free of charge. You should only bring some food before you leave the dock.

Full day - Very cordial and accommodating

Full Day Trip on April 6, 2023 • 4 adults

Luis and Chuckie were great. We booked a full day for my wife, son and I. Started trolling and was a bit slow but we kept at it. Caught a 4 ft barracuda and tried to catch a marlin with 5 hits, a bit through leader and one hit that saw massive jumps from the amazing fish that got away. At the end bottom fished and we snagged two grouper, several trigger fish and snapper and some banana fish (bait). Had them cooked up at shore and gave barracuda to crew. Choose to fish rather than snorkel as marlin was worth the trade. Crew kept lines out constantly and were attentive to our needs at all time. English was understood well.

Half day trip with Pancho and Juan

This fishing charter was incredible! Pancho and Juan were amazing guides and we were truly impressed with how well everything went. The boat was very clean and even after fish were caught, was proceeded to be cleaned by Juan. Our driver of the boat, Pancho, helped direct the way to some amazing fish while Juan did an excellent job tying rigs and tossing out the baits. The two were also engaged in conversation with us for quite a lot of the trip. Juan very kindly offered my son some water while he fought his Marlin and they were on the sidelines the whole time to ensure that landing the fish was the priority! With this outstanding charter, it's very easy to say that this was one of the best charters we have ever been on. My son is incredibly thankful to have the opportunity to catch such large fish. He's beyond grateful (and greatly exhausted at the end of the day) to of had the chance for redemption after one of the charters he went on didn't go to plan. We certainly would recommend this charter to anyone. Thank you Pancho and Juan!

The trip almost got canceled due to windy day. So instead of starting at 7:30am we left at noon. The trip started off very slow because the captain wanted to troll the waters. ( It was a nice cruise and we got to take great pictures.) Once we started bottom fishing the fun began and didn't stop until it was time to head back. The only downside of this trip was we were not able to snorkel or go to the senote as described in the ad but the excitement of our fish adventure we didn't mind missing those things. Captain Chuckie and his helper were very polite and knowledgeable of the best fishing areas and techniques . Gracias amigos!

Half Day Trip with Capt Chakis

Half Day Trip (PM) on March 7, 2023 • 3 adults

Despite booking late Capt Luis was able to get a half day charter with Capt Chakis and mate Guillermo on Alondra III. Easy to find in the center of Playa del Carmen- and bathrooms available. Weather was great, with only moderate swells, and we were off. Unlike some other boats we've been on Capt Chakis respected our request to do bottom and reef fishing, rather than trolling. It was a short trip to the first location, and we had lines in the water in less than 30 minutes. First couple of locations were slow, the crew was active in moving to different spots and we shifted from 'fishing' to 'catching'. At times we had fish on 3 rods at once, and landed many of them. Triggerfish and other reef types have a very delicate bite, and with some helpful assistance from the team we caught on to the telltale signs. We also had company, as a pelican decided to park on the bow and watch- rewarded with the occasional fish. With our arms getting tired we called it a day after 3 hours or so and headed back to shore. Capt Chakis offered to make us ceviche, and who could resist that? Fresh triggerfish ceviche, cold cervezas, and some great folks to share it with. All in all, an excellent day. Highly recommended.

Full day trip ... Amazing!

We had our family of four, two adults and two children, enjoy this incredible full day experience. The crew was very attentive to our needs and modified our trip as requested throughout the day. The equipment and boat was top-notch and well maintained. We enjoyed bottom fishing, jigging, exploring cenotes, ceviche picnic on a private beach, snorkeling with sea turtles, and trolling our way back to dock. Upon returning, the crew hooked us up with a restaurant steps away where our days catch was cooked with all the sides one could imagine. I would definitely recommend, and will be booking again next time we are in Mexico.
