Have a beautiful fishing experience with Dragonfly Charters as you explore the scenic inshore and nearshore waters, flats, and the backcountry of Florida. Captain Mike Moran will meet you in Cape Coral and take you on a fun and enjoyable trip to the area's grounds rich with many respectable fish species. The captain is a lifelong angler with lots of passion for the water and he knows how to provide a successful trip. Join him aboard and have a day to remember!
Your boat for the day will be a 16' SaltMarsh flats boat that can fit 2 guests. It runs on a 70 HP Yamaha engine and uses GPS for better navigation. It has got a livewell in order to provide you with live bait.
The species you, your companion, and the captain will be chasing include Tarpon, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Pompano, Tripletail, Sheepshead, Redfish, Cobia, and more. In order to attract them, you can use spinning, popping, and fly fishing, all on light tackle. You're free to keep the fish you catch as well as to bring your kids aboard.
Captain Mike supplies all the fishing equipment, live bait, lures, as well as licenses. Before you depart, just make sure you have some snacks and drinks with you.

Very experienced, personable ,hard working capt , whatever your preferred style of fishing Mike can deliver, I myself like the fast action hunt cast and move till ya find fish and he knows the area the hot spots to increase your odds for some action! his boat in my opinion is the perfect size very easy to land fish fling em right on the bow , stealthy like a bass boat . Ive fished with Capt Mike a couple x now im from Illinois often hunting smallmouth up north and this style blends right in with me, I’ve caught big Snook, Redfish , sheepshead , sea trout with Mike now catching fish is never guaranteed , weather , time of year, temperature and that has an effect on every guide but worst case scenario you’ll have good conversation, see some wildlife and gain some experience I highly recommend Capt Mike and Dragonfly and he is my go too and will be back again

You cannot do better than to book with Mike. On top of being a super kind and professional guide, he is a wealth of knowledge. On a cool, windy, gray day (challenging conditions), he put us on snook, redfish, sheepshead, and trout. In fact, we caught our limit of trout (he caught 3 keepers), which he graciously filleted for me. I cannot recommend Mike enough. It was a really fun day, and I will definitely book with him, again. Thank you, Mike! 😃🙌

Awesome time on the water!

Mike was great! He grew up on these waters so he was very knowledgeable. As an ex local, that also grew up here, I knew we were in good hands. He has great gear and and a great boat. He got us on the fish right away! I caught my pb snook and redfish within the first hour. We actually lost count how many we caught. After the bite slowed down, we took a trip to Cayo Costa and saw some dolphins then got to see some manatees up close. I highly recommend booking him! The pictures dont lie! I will be booking him the next time I come back down. He is a great Captain and super nice guy.

Captain Mike Moran is an outstanding guide and person. He's a consummate professional and really works his tail off to put you on fish. Mike knows his trade well. He grew up fishing these waters and it shows. My wife Steph and I had an absolutely fantastic trip today and despite the tough conditions still managed to hook some really nice snook despite my crappy casting! Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Mike. He's a great guide with a beautiful skiff, and a tremendous personality. You'll be glad you did!

Today was an absolute blast fishing with you snd Steph!!! Tons of laughs, fishing and BS’ing!!!!! Thank you for your service, Mike. love the passion for life. Incredible stories had my admiration all day. It was a tough day fishing!!!!! We never threw in the towel!!!! We’d still be out there if it weren’t for somebody with some good sense(Steph)!!!!!! Hard days with awesome folks are what keeos us going. look forward to our next outing!!!!!! Thanks again for everything!!!!!

Mike always puts you on fish, even when the conditions aren't optimum. We caught red fish, sheepshead and trout. Lots of trout! Had a great time again. Mike has an extensive knowledge of the area.
