Captain Mike got his first Jon Boat when he was 11 years old and living in Fort Myers Beach. He absolutely fell in love with the salt water, mangroves, and wildlife. He's been fishing these waters for 30 years and still learns something new every day. The captain believes that's the fun in it and that we'll never figure Mother Nature out.

Half day afternoon trip • 2 adultsVery experienced, personable ,hard working capt , whatever your preferred style of fishing Mike can deliver, I myself like the fast action hunt cast and move till ya find fish and he knows the area the hot spots to increase your odds for some action! his boat in my opinion is the perfect size very easy to land fish fling em right on the bow , stealthy like a bass boat . Ive fished with Capt Mike a couple x now im from Illinois often hunting smallmouth up north and this style blends right in with me, I’ve caught big Snook, Redfish , sheepshead , sea trout with Mike now catching fish is never guaranteed , weather , time of year, temperature and that has an effect on every guide but worst case scenario you’ll have good conversation, see some wildlife and gain some experience I highly recommend Capt Mike and Dragonfly and he is my go too and will be back again

3/4 Day Trip • 2 adultsCaptain Mike is the man! Hes great a finding fish, using what the day has provided, and most of all being a great Captain. We had a wonderful day on the water and got to limit out on redfish which is always fantastic. My wife and I will definitely be coming back to see Captain Mike and go slay more redfish, trout, and snok with him in the future.

Half Day morning trip • 2 adultsCaptain Mike was great! Tarpon has always been on my bucket list and Mike made it happen for me!! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to fish down here. We caught Redfish, Jack, Snook, and Tarpon. He was very knowledgeable about the fish, and the history of the area! We plan on coming back and will definitely be contacting Mike for future trips.

The boat is perfectly matched for the style of fishing and was ready and waiting when we arrived. I always go with guides to learn and he taught about technique, the fish, their patterns, everything. It was a great day and highly recommend!

Half Day morning trip • 2 adultsHad a great time fishing with Mike! Great fishing, great conversation as well. Mike started early to make sure we had fresh bait and works very hard to give you a great fishing experience. Caught a few nice redfish, saw Dolphins I will definitely be doing this again with Mike next time we’re in Cape Coral!

September is the end of the rainy season in Southwest Florida, but there is a risk of hurricanes. The water temperatures are still hot, but cold fronts may start to appear. Look out for Redfish spawning at the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River.
