Very experienced, personable ,hard working capt , whatever your preferred style of fishing Mike can deliver, I myself like the fast action hunt cast and move till ya find fish and he knows the area the hot spots to increase your odds for some action! his boat in my opinion is the perfect size very easy to land fish fling em right on the bow , stealthy like a bass boat . Ive fished with Capt Mike a couple x now im from Illinois often hunting smallmouth up north and this style blends right in with me, I’ve caught big Snook, Redfish , sheepshead , sea trout with Mike now catching fish is never guaranteed , weather , time of year, temperature and that has an effect on every guide but worst case scenario you’ll have good conversation, see some wildlife and gain some experience I highly recommend Capt Mike and Dragonfly and he is my go too and will be back again

You cannot do better than to book with Mike. On top of being a super kind and professional guide, he is a wealth of knowledge. On a cool, windy, gray day (challenging conditions), he put us on snook, redfish, sheepshead, and trout. In fact, we caught our limit of trout (he caught 3 keepers), which he graciously filleted for me. I cannot recommend Mike enough. It was a really fun day, and I will definitely book with him, again. Mike was great! He grew up on these waters so he was very knowledgeable. As an ex local, that also grew up here, I knew we were in good hands. He has great gear and and a great boat. He got us on the fish right away! I caught my pb snook and redfish within the first hour. We actually lost count how many we caught. After the bite slowed down, we took a trip to Cayo Costa and saw some dolphins then got to see some manatees up close. I highly recommend booking him! The pictures dont lie! I will be booking him the next time I come back down. He is a great Captain and super nice guy.

We had a FANTASTIC time with Captain Mike! He is knowledgeable about the waters that we fished in. He also has an innate love for nature. So, if you’re a naturalist, you will absolutely enjoy his time and energy. We had a half day excursion, and we caught numerous species of fish. However, the most abundant species that we caught were Snook. They ranged from approximately 1-1.5lbs to 8lbs. We also caught an approximately 8-10lb Red Fish, Cat Fish, and some other small fish.

We got a guided tour of the mangroves, and the sad history of how Hurricane Ian completely decimated the area. His boat was the perfect size for my wife and me. I would (will) certainly book with Captain Mike again when we are in the Cape Coral area. Please see some of the attached pics. We started out the day with a nice size redfish, pulled hard, then later as the tide got higher the snook bite really turned on. I pulled a very respectable snook out of the mangroves. If you like catching fish you will have a fun day with Mike.
