Enjoy a fun and relaxing stay on the waters of Texas as you catch fish with Paradise Charters SPI. You'll start out of South Padre Island and explore inshore and offshore waters as well as flats, all offering a diverse choice of species to catch. Captain Michael Gibbs will guide you and make sure you have a safe and enjoyable trip. Join him aboard and have a great day of fishing in Texas!
The boat you'll use is a 21' Hurricane saltwater fishing boat that can accommodate up to 6 guests. Thanks to its GPS electronics, the boat makes a more efficient movement on the water, and its 150 HP Yamaha engine will quickly take you to fishing spots. The boat has got a livewell to provide live bait, an ice-box to store your catch, and a portable toilet.
During your trip, you'll target Snook, Red Snapper, Sheepshead, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Black Drum. You can catch them by bottom fishing, jigging, popping, Flounder gigging, as well as drift fishing, all using light tackle. You can bring kids on your trip and you're free to keep the fish you catch.
All the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures and drinks will be ready for you when you arrive. What you should bring are just your valid fishing licenses.

Our family of four had a wonderful fishing experience with Capt Mike! My girls, 7 and 10, had a blast catching fish, playing with the live shrimp bait, seeing dolphins, and even feeding pelicans at the end of the trip. We caught plenty, including a 25inch redfish, but only kept five to eat and released the rest. Capt Mike filleted the fish for us and we had it blackened and fried at a restaurant on the island. Def recommend fishing with Capt Mike!
Trip was super fun with the family, captain Michael definitely made it a memorable trip if your looking for a good time out in the water I definitely recommend paradise charters
We had an awesome time! Mike was knowledgeable and took us to all of the good spots. He had a lot of patience with baiting and casting for those of us that struggled (me). He also gave a lot of good tips as well. We will definitely book with Mike again when we come back down. Thanks for the great memories Mike!
Highly recommend this fishing trip. Had an amazing time, brought our dog along, and got into some fish! 5 stars!!
