Experience fishing off the west coast of Puerto Rico!
We’re here to provide you with the best charter fishing experience we can! Just climb aboard, and let the crew put you on the fish. You can sit back while the Captain sets the spread. As the fish bite, you’ll take turns bringing in the fish.
The crew will be happy to interact with you, and teach you about the island here, and all the different types of wildlife inhabiting it, and its surrounding waters.
Fish Slayer Charters offers a variety of packages to meet your requirements!
Your boat for the day will be a 30’ Albemarle 305 offshore sport fishing boat. It can comfortably fit 6 anglers/guest. The Fish Slayer runs on twin 300 HP Cat 3116TA engines, and uses full-featured navigation electronics. On board is a cabin, with a fully functioning toilet, and room to lay down if needed!
Its fishing gear includes Shimano, Penn, Diawa, and Custom hardware, outriggers, a livewell, and some snorkeling equipment.
The fish you’ll target includes,
Offshore - Mahi/dolphinfish, Wahoo, Rainbow Runner, Blue, and White Marlin, Sailfish, Tripletail, Blackfin, and Yellowfin tuna, King Mackerel.
Inshore - Mutton, and Yellowtail Snapper, King, and Cero Mackerel, Yellow, and Bar jacks, Jack Crevalles, Blue, and Rainbow runners, and many more, and sometimes Sailfish, Grouper, African Pompano.
All caught while trolling.
You’re free to keep your catch. If you prefer not to, the crew will take it instead.
All the kids are welcome to come aboard but you have to provide life jackets for those under 12.
Captain Paul supplies all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, as well as licenses. Apart from helping you during the trip, the crew will also clean, fillet, and bag your catch, so please consider it in their tip for the extra effort.
You will need to bring drinks, snacks, adequate sun protection, and sunglasses are a must have for the day(even clip-ons, or gas station shades work).

5 Hour Trip – Offshore on January 28, 2025
What can I say about this trip. I had no expectations coming into this trip and these two made it a huge positive for me and my son. We had great weather all day and these guys made an amazing trip for us we did a deep sea option and didn’t hookup with a lot but that’s the way fishing goes. We were not catching a lot out deep so captain said we were going in sallower to make the trip more valuable and he delivered. These guys will do anything in their power and work as hard as they have to, to make sure you have a great time. We frequent Puerto Rico every year and I will book a trip every single time I visit. Looking forward to next years trip. Easy to talk to and get along with. They had so much knowledge about the island and willing to share any info he has. He also cleaned our fish and made us fresh fish tacos from our catch that were simply amazing. I would strongly suggest that you try this charter first before you go anywhere else like I said again this will be a yearly trip for us, it was simply outstanding.

4 Hour Trip - Inshore Reef AM on May 6, 2025
Paul and Matt made the entire trip enjoyable and educational. Both were competent and committed...not like the other charters that I had been on where the captain and crew just did their job with little insight as to the flora, fauna and fish. Right from the sight they made us feel comfortable and welcome. Would most certainly hire them again...great guys and adventure!

5 Hour Trip – Inshore on November 4, 2024
Great trip w/ our 4 boys. Capt & crew worked relentlessly to put us on fish. Promised the wives that we’d bring home dinner for fish tacos. Caught our quota of Cudas & looked for a while like we were gonna have chicken finger tacos for dinner. Lucky we double headered a pair of steamer Blackfin Tunas to save the day. Crushing some sashimi tuna & yellowtail snapper as we speak. Capt. Paul & Matt were an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. Great conversations & a ton of local knowledge & helpful local knowledge. Wouldnt fish w/ anyone else in PR. Thanks for a great day. Can’t wait to come back & do it again.

Perfect Day
7 Hour–Adventure trip, Fish/Snorkel on May 17, 2024
We booked last minute, trying to decide to snorkel or to fish… until we came across this trip. It is everything promised and more! Boat, snorkel stuff, fishing equipment all great… huge coolers plenty of ice! After a safety meeting, we took off… We caught 20 or so fish… kept 8 or so, they will make fish tacos with your fish after your trip. Snorkeling was amazing… the Caribbean Lobsters are pretty cool! Like everywhere else in PR, you will find the crew super friendly. Captain Paul and First Mate Sean moved to the island after Maria. They are both great duded with life experience beyond fishing… You will learn the best places to eat, stay, the lighthouse, location of hidden water falls… As states they deliver as promised, additionally they earned and deserved a good tip! Plan to go back in January to see the whales and catch Marlin!

From Reel to Plate: A Delicious Fishing Adventure

Paul and Matt were exceptional guides! Their knowledge of the water and fishing techniques was evident throughout the trip. We had a great time learning about the different fish species and the local ecosystem. While we all enjoyed the thrill of reeling in fish, it was a bit challenging to keep the kids engaged. It's important to understand that fishing can be a waiting game, and it might not be the most exciting activity for everyone. However, the highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the delicious fish tacos made with our own catch! It was an incredible experience to taste such fresh fish. Paul's expertise in cleaning the fish was invaluable, and the restaurant's preparation was top-notch. I highly recommend this charter for anyone interested in experiencing the thrill of fishing and the reward of enjoying a fresh seafood meal.
