Uncharted Adventures takes you out on a fun and exciting fishing trip to the bountiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Heading out of Marco Island, Florida, Captain Matthew Keegan will take you to various inshore and nearshore spots as well as to the area's backcountry, reefs, flats, and wrecks. Book your trip today and secure yourself a fun-packed and enjoyable experience on the water!

The boat you'll be using is a 24' Nautic Star bay boat center console with enough space for 4 guests. It uses a 250 HP Yamaha engine as well as GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology for quick and accurate movement on the water. It features a wireless trolling motor for a more discreet approach to the fish, an ice box for storing your catch, and a livewell to supply you with live bait.

On your trip, you could catch species such as Goliath Grouper, Shark, Snook, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, and other. Fishing on light and heavy tackle to reel in your targets. If you choose to keep your catch, Captain Matthew will gladly clean it for you at no extra charge. Kids are welcome to come aboard as well, so feel free to bring them and make your trip a wonderful family adventure!

The captain provides all the fishing gear and licenses, so just bring your food and drinks before you go.

Me and my family had a great day of fishing with Captain Matt. We caught the usual suspects of sea trout and jacks but also a few surprises including a flounder and stingray. The highlight of the day however was several large sharks! Each my kids landed a shark (3 total) and they couldn’t have been more excited. We also lost another big shark but the excitement was the same regardless. Thanks Matt for another great day of fishing. We hope to be back in Marko Island to fish with you again one day.

We booked a 3 hr inshore charter with Capt. Matt out of Marco Island/Goodland area, and it was one of the best fishing trips we’ve had in Southwest Florida. Born and raised in these waters, he knows every spot in the back bays and mangroves like the back of his hand. The action was steady right from the start—he put us on fish consistently, gave great tips, and was super patient and fun to fish with. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Highly recommend Capt. Matt. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area! 🎣

Awesome Trip

We had a great day on the water with Captain Matt. We caught a number of fish, including Goliath grouper (which we of course returned to the water), a couple of sharks and a good number of mackerel. Captain Matt was attentive to all 5 of us. If we weren’t having much luck in a certain spot, we moved quickly to a better spot.

I had a great time with Captain Matt. He is friendly, conscientious, easy going, and works hard to find the fish. It was a beautiful day to fish with calm waters. Here is a list of different species of fish we caught...flounder, puffer fish, ladyfish, snapper, sheepshead, sting ray and sea trout. That's quite an array! Matt has lived in Goodland all his life and knows the surrounding waters well. I highly recommend that you choose Matt as a guide for a fun fishing trip.

We had an amazing day with Captain Matt. We caught more fish than we could keep track of. Aside from the great fishing the captain was very friendly and fun to fish with. We also had some surprise shark encounters. I would absolutely recommend this charter captain to anybody visiting Marko Island area
