The first way my expectations were exceeded was being just my wife and I on the boat, we not only had Captain Daniel and a mate, but also a second mate. This was awesome with having plenty of room and with all the intensity and chaos that comes about when you find tuna. The second way was absolutely the food! It was like having fine restaurant quality food in the middle of a fishing day. I’m the type that when it comes to fishing, I just need a handful of something quickly so it doesn’t interfere with fishing time. Daniel served us tuna that was extraordinary. Then even though I didn’t think I wanted anything more to eat, I agreed to try the ceviche and it was spectacular. I ended up eating past full because it was so good. Then, after a fantastic day of fishing he served our fresh caught tuna as sashimi with avocado that I can still taste thinking about it. The food was unreal and again, I’m a give me a sandwich or an energy bar and call it good kind of fisherman. Another way my expectations were exceeded is that this was the first charter fishing trip I’ve had that I didn’t feel like we were “on the clock”. Daniel never made us feel like we’re in a hurry and time is running out and we’re following a specific time schedule to get back. He actually asked us if we were ready to be done or if we wanted to keep fishing after our time was technically up. The great thing was we both caught yellowfin tuna that were great battles, my wife caught a whitetip shark and actually lost another, and I caught my most wanted saltwater fish, a big Rooster, so we were satisfied and exhausted and ready to call it a wonderful day. Thank you Daniel, looking forward to coming back and fishing with you again!

What an amazing experience all the way around!  Starting from the beginning when booking they we’re so helpful with answering all my questions about the boat, the captain,  and the area (we live out of the country).  The captain picked us up right at the resort dock both days right on time.  We caught so many different kinds of fish but most importantly a big rooster fish.  This was a bucket list item for my husband.  So turning 50 this month Captain Daniel made it happen for him.  I would also like to mention the lunch and snacks provided were amazing both days.  My family is still talking about the two different kinds of ceviche Captain Daniel provided.  We want to give a big thanks to captain Daniel and David (part of the crew). These memories will last forever for our family.  Thank you for making our trip to Panama amazing.  If we ever come back to Panama you will be the first person we contact to book again.

We were hoping to catch several tuna. Unfortunately, we only got one (enough for dinner!!!), but we also caught and released 2 sailfish which gave us quite a flight to bring in. Captain Michael and mate David were very attentive throughout the trip. We had a fantastic time!
