CATTAN SPORT FISHING PANAMA
Join CATTAN SPORT FISHING CREW in the Out Of Control boat for a great fishing experience on the Pacific Coast. Your tour begins in David, Panama where you and the crew will start heading towards the Gulf of Chiriquí. Captain Daniel Cattan and his assistant offer you different fishing packages and include lunch and drinks. They are anglers with more than 30 years of experience and will do their best to provide you with a trip to remember. Come and join them for a good catch!
The boat you’ll be fishing from is a custom-made center console. It can sit up to 4 guests and runs on twin 175 HP Suzuki four stroke outboards. Apart from modern navigation electronics, your boat is equipped with a livewell and snorkeling gear. There will be a first mate to assist you during the trip and there’s a multimedia system and an ice-box you can use.
On your adventure, you’ll have a chance to try out many different fishing techniques. As you explore Panama’s inshore and offshore waters, you can bottom fish, troll, jig, spin, pop, as well as handline. Some of the various species you can catch include Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Wahoo, and other prized fish. You decide if you’ll keep or release the fish you catch. Also, feel free to bring your kids on the trip.
From the equipment to lunch, Captain Daniel will provide everything you need for a great day of fishing. Just come and enjoy.

Full Day Trip – Inshore Fishing
Inshore Great
We had a great trip my wife an 16 year old son. We caught a handful of Rooster fish and my son caught a Cubera on a popper and Michael the mate hooked a gave the rod to my son on probably 35 pd Cubera. These guys were very conciseness aboutt releasing them the right way and they get an A plus in my book. They work very well as a team. Their equipment is good I would have liked a lighter rod for the popper now that I'm in my 50's. Their equipment most important thing is the worked their asses off

Full Day Trip – Offshore Fishing
Very Good Trip
Fished 2 days with Daniel. On day 1 we made a long run pretty much to Hannibal bank and were in the tuna all day. Landed 4 yellowfin between 20 -40#. Very fun throwing to boiling leaping fish. Also caught a nice snapper. Day 2 was tough as weather prevented us from getting as far offshore and we fished islands and rocks. A few small Bonita and a beautiful Blue Jack were the days catch. Great effort by the captain and mate as we jogged, trolled, used live and cut bait as well as plugs. Also, the captain provided excellent food and beverages for the trip. Pulled pork sandwiches, ceviche, fresh fruit, jumbo shrimp, grilled tuna. All were outstanding.

incredible fishing trip
Couldn't recommend Cattan Sports Fishing enough! We took a two day charter- one day offshore and one day inshore. Captain Daniel and Captain Michael did an incredible job getting us on a ton of fish. I've been on over 15 charters in my life- and this one was most impressive by far! Island swim, fresh prepared ceviche, and incredible memories!

Full Day Trip – Mangroves Fishing
Great experience!
We were hoping to catch several tuna. Unfortunately, we only got one (enough for dinner!!!), but we also caught and released 2 sailfish which gave us quite a flight to bring in. Captain Michael and mate David were very attentive throughout the trip. We had a fantastic time!
