Get Salty Charters
Get Salty Charters fishes on the waters of Sarasota and Siesta Key out to the Gulf of Mexico and the surrounding areas. Captain Cameron and Captain Jeff are both Sarasota natives who grew up on these waters and they will provide you with a chance to catch a variety of respectable fish on any of their inshore and nearshore trips. Come join them aboard and have a lovely time fishing in Florida.
Sarasota Bay and the surrounding area are home to some of the most targeted species around, including Snook, Redfish, Seatrout, Kingfish, Tripletail, Snapper, and Tarpon! You can attract them by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, as well as jigging, and you’re free to keep your catch.
Your trip will be on a 2016 24’ T Craft center console with a tower for optimal fish spotting capability. It’s powered by a 300 HP Yamaha outboard and equipped with a trolling motor and a power pole. A cooler and ice will be provided for your drinks and snacks as well as a large fish box for your catch. Most of your fishing will be done with live bait, so there are three livewells to keep your catch fresh. Up to 4 anglers can join a trip.
All the fishing gear you need will be included for your day on the water. The crew supplies rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses. It can also clean and bag your catch of the day. Make sure to bring some food and a cooler you’ll keep in your vehicle if you plan to take your catch with you. Also, keep in mind that smoking isn’t allowed during the trip and that kids are more than welcome to come aboard.

Best day ever!!
We were visiting family in the area and took our son (12) and had 3 other adults- we consistently caught fish. Cameron was super knowledgeable of where to go and what we would catch- along with what was in season or not. We had the best time! Cameron cleaned the fish and recommended Walt’s which was near by so we could take our catch and eat it immediately. He packed us separate bag with the additional cleaned fish for us to eat the next day or freeze. Again, so much fun- we would totally visit and jump on this boat with this crew again!!! GREAT Experience - Get Salty
Great fisherman! True professionals that know the species know where to go to catch fish, very courteous and helpful. I’ve been through Canada Mexico and the United States fishing and just had a great experience with Jeff/Cameron. I wanted to share my feedback on Get Salty! I don’t know these two men, but I so appreciate their knowledge of fishing. Captain Jeff and Cameron are absolutely the best plus they are paramedic/firefighters for our country. Great trip, highly recommend
Went out for a 4 hour morning charter, Cameron was awesome. We had some less experienced anglers, and he was extremely accommodating for them. Good conversations, great time, and most importantly we caught fish to bring home, good variety too. Guys clearly know their stuff around Sarasota / siesta key, couldn’t recommend these guys more!

Great Day on the Water!
Cameron was great. He took us out to 4 or 5 different locations on the water and our group caught 9 different species of fish and almost 30 total fish. Our trip was cut a little short due to a sudden poo yo lightning and rain storm the 2bd hour out in the water. Cameron got us off the water and under a concrete structure until the storm passed. My 19 and 22 year old sons said it was the best day they have had in Sarasota so far.

Great day of fishing
Jeff and Cameron were great! Our family went on a 4 hour trip with them and caught a ton of fish. They knew the great spots to go to catch trout, redfish, snook, and even flounder. They recognized our fishing abilities (or lack thereof) and helped us get going with helpful tips throughout the day, and fileted our fish at the end so we had a wonderful seafood feast that evening.
