'Reel Knowledge Fishing' offers exciting adventures on the waters surrounding Sarasota, Florida. If you're looking for a memorable day out, fishing with an experienced and professional guide, Captain Josh Harris is your man. He works hard to provide excellent service while putting you on the fish of your dreams!
Your vessel for the day is a 23' Nauticstar Tournament Edition saltwater fishing boat, with a T-Top for shade, which can comfortably accommodate up to 4 anglers. She's outfitted with the latest in navigational electronics, including GPS and Fishfinder, as well as a live well and ice box to keep your catch fresh.
You'll explore the Sun Coast's beautiful waters in search of a variety of delicious inshore and nearshore fish. Explore the backcountry and flats and you'll hook into the likes of Snook, Redfish, and spotted sea trout as well as many other inshore and near shore species.
Capt. Josh brings along all the gear and live bait you need for a successful day. If you decide to keep any of your catch, he'll clean and fillet it for you after you've returned to the dock. Bring along any drinks and snacks you'd like to enjoy and you're ready to head out!

Captain Josh put us on the fish during a cold snap and we had no problem filling the fish box with sheephead keepers! As soon as we lost our bait he had another shrimp ready to go. Snagged line ? No problem he handed me another ready to fish pole and got that one re-rigged. Fish On ! He was right there with the net . What I liked was he really spent time with the wife getting her going and helping her catch fish while I was catching them on the other side of the boat.
When we got to the dock he went to town on the fish and gave us a whole bag of filets !
Really can’t say enough about how good Captain Josh took care of us and now I’m trying to squeeze another trip in with him before we leave!

Wife and I caught a variety of fish...large and small. Temperatures did not cooperate at the start, but the day improved as each hour of our private booking passed. We are looking forward to our next trip to the Sarasota area. Captain Josh even took time to get us to a picture perfect stop for the sunset. Definitely one of our top memories of this trip. Thank you!
