We had a lot of fun on this trip. It was my son's first time fishing, and we had some really good luck early on. For a while it seemed like every cast was catching something, although things slowed down a bit as we got closer to noon. Captain Josh was very kind, patient, and helpful, especially with a very curious 12 year old who kept asking the same questions over and over. Josh took the time to answer everything and made sure my son felt he learned something. One of the highlights was watching Captain Josh teach my son how to bait & cast. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and gave him plenty of opportunities to practice. By the end of the trip, my son was convinced he was a professional fisherman. He was also incredibly lucky because it seemed like every time he dropped his hook in the water, he was pulling up another fish. I do wish we could have booked a slightly longer trip because the time went by very quickly, especially once the fishing started. That said, my son had an absolute blast, and seeing how much fun he had made the trip completely worth it. Overall, it was a great experience, and Captain Josh did an excellent job making my son's first fishing trip one he will remember for a long time.

I cat say enough good things about our trip and Captain Josh! From booking the trip until the very end, he was super responsive and knowledgeable. He immediately put us on some good fish and didn’t linger when the bite slowed. We caught a variety of fish, most memorable being my first snook and my friend’s first trout and flounder! I would highly recommend Captain Josh! Good jokes, squeaky clean boat, and an overall amazing time!

Captain Josh put us on the fish during a cold snap and we had no problem filling the fish box with sheephead keepers! As soon as we lost our bait he had another shrimp ready to go. Snagged line ? No problem he handed me another ready to fish pole and got that one re-rigged. Fish On ! He was right there with the net . What I liked was he really spent time with the wife getting her going and helping her catch fish while I was catching them on the other side of the boat. When we got to the dock he went to town on the fish and gave us a whole bag of filets ! Really can’t say enough about how good Captain Josh took care of us and now I’m trying to squeeze another trip in with him before we leave!

Captain Josh got us on the redfish almost instantly. He had a variety of spots that we could catch many other types of fish also. Fantastic Charter, easy 10/10

Captain Josh was great, it was my wife's first time fishing and she was a little nervous. Josh took care of everything and got us on the fish. My wife had a great time was able to reel in some fish and, most importantly, said she wanted to do it again. completely successful trip, highly recommended.

Wife and I caught a variety of fish...large and small. Temperatures did not cooperate at the start, but the day improved as each hour of our private booking passed. We are looking forward to our next trip to the Sarasota area. Captain Josh even took time to get us to a picture perfect stop for the sunset. Definitely one of our top memories of this trip. Thank you!

Great day with Captain Josh. We went out for 4 hours starting at 8:30. We caught snook, trout, mackarel, and others. Josh was a great captain and instructor. Would love to go out with him again.
