Our goal is to make sure your charter has fun while catching fish – pretty simple, right? Departing from Leonardo Marina, you can fish Raritan Bay, Sandy Hook Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. Join us for a great private fishing trip in New Jersey!
We just repowered a safe and fast fishing machine Everglades 290. This 30 foot Center console
comfortably takes 6guests and has the latest gear, tackle, and electronics to put your crew on the fish quickly. Cruising at 30 mph we get you to the fishing grounds fast. . Of course, the boat is equipped with all the coast guard safety gear and also has a private enclosed bathroom.
Our Striped Bass fishery is amazing. Striped Bass have two great seasons- spring and fall. This usually means April until June and then again from October until December. Our center cosole set up is the perfect boat to maximize your fishing experience
Summer Flounder (a great fish to target with the kids) gets going from June until September. We provide the bucktails and gulp or fresh bait to put the doormats in your cooler.
Black Seabass and Blackfish are prolific in our area and are so good to eat. We will get you on the “good bottom” so you can fill the cooler with these tasty fish. We also catch Cod, Porgy, and Triggerfish on these trips. our boat is equipped with spot lock to quickly put you on the good bottom
Our inshore speedster trip targets bluefish,bonito, albies and mahi
Our Tuna and or Shark trip are more expensive but are truly memorable, come catch a sea monster with us!!!!.
Sandy Hook Charters will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, and bait. You just bring your food and drinks. If you decide to keep your catch, our crew can clean it and bag it for you. A 20 percent tip is customary if you are satisfied.

Had an incredible day out on the water with Captain Tim and deckhand Dave—couldn’t recommend them more!! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Tim put us right on the fish and made the whole experience fun, relaxed, and professional. We landed a beautiful striped bass, and Dave was fantastic all day—super helpful, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. A huge bonus was that Tim cleaned the fish for us perfectly, which made the day even better. We then took our fresh catch to a local restaurant and had it cooked up for lunch—honestly one of the best meals you can have. If you’re looking for a great fishing experience with a knowledgeable captain and a great crew, this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

Captain TJ and David made our first fishing experience the best. They took the time to show us how to use the equipment and gave us Great tips on how to make a catch. They are very experienced and knew right away when we caught a fish on the line. They catered to each individuals needs to make sure we were all successful! Wonderful trip all over and plus a beautiful day to be on the sea!

Capt Tim and his mate David were fantastic!! Got us on some nice Stripers and really made the day one to remember. We moved around constantly and chased the fish all morning while having great conversation and laughs the entire time. I will Definitely be booking another trip and would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a hard working, fun, and patient crew!!

Even though the wind and waves werent the most ideal, Captain TJ worked vigorously to put us on fish. He put us on a whole lot of different species from blackfish to strippers. Dave was the hidden gem of the charter. The most attentive first deck hand ive seen. He was working overtime to ensure all six lines were good to go at all time and fish got in the bucket. These two as a combo is just an amazing experience i dont think anyone should miss out! Thanks Capt. TJ and Dave for the trip.

Captain TJ and mate David were awesome. We caught tons of fish - blues, black bass, fluke and a dogfish! We also saw a couple of sharks. Captain TJ took us to where the fish were over and over again!!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
