Tough conditions but we where able to preserve!
4 Hour Morning Trip (7am)bay on April 7, 20262 adults3 children

Very windy conditions and an 8 degree water temp drop over night made it a challenge to locate the fish early in the trip. After not getting anything on the line at the first few spots, and weather picking up in the Bay Captain Jake had us pick up one more time and move to another bayou that could protect us better from the wind. This move definitely saved the day. Started a little slow, but soon enough brought in the first Redfish of the day. Right behind it, mangrove snapper. Ended up staying in the bayou the rest of trip and taking home 2 Redfish and 5 mangrove snapper. Perfect for nice fish fry afterwards! Overall a challenging day but you need those days to keep you humble. Captain Jake was kind enough to offer us the option of calling the trip early due to weather but glad we stuck it out, persevered, and bring home some fish. Jake was great with the kids, good conversation, and a pleasure to have as the Captain.

Three Generations on One Trip
3 Hour late a.m Trip – Kids(bay) on March 31, 20262 adults2 children

I was able to get my dad as well as my two sons together for a three generation fishing trip while we were all together for spring break. Captain Jake was amazingly patient with my boys (12, 10) when they were unfamiliar with the heavier fishing than they are used to. He was on time, ready, and while it was windy, did everything he could to get us on some fish. All four of us were able to catch fish and Captain Jake made sure the boys had a great time. We will definitely be using his talents and boat again!

Perfect Day
4 Hour Trip – Fish/Swim Combo (PM) on June 24, 20263 adults3 children

We did the 2 hour fishing in the bay. Then 2 hour swimming at crab island. All of us had a great time. Each kid caught a fish which was bit of good luck and certainly good guiding and baiting by Captain Jake. The adults fished too. We got to just do all the fun parts of fishing. We hope to do it again soon!
