Captain Wyatt Lewis is a born and raised local, with a passion for fishing since a young age. His professionalism and expertise gives you the best opportunity possible to find and land some of the most sought after species in the area, from deep inshore fishing the flats for redfish and trout, to offshore bottom dropping for large snapper, grouper, amberjacks and more, as well as trolling for nearshore pelagic species like sailfish, tuna, mahi, and mackerel. Captain Wyatt has spent years perfecting his craft to ensure that you will have the best experience possible on the water!

Hop aboard our 22' Sea Hunt BX bay boat that's been recently upgraded with a four-stroke Yamaha engine. This boat is perfect for navigating the area since it has a much deeper V-hull than similar models. That allows her to cut through waves easily and keep the ride smooth and dry for everyone on board. With higher sides, the boat is extra safe for kids, while the T-top will keep everyone in the shade.

Capt. Wyatt will provide you with everything you need to fish – fishing licenses, life jackets, safety gear, tackle, rods, and bait. Just bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and a small cooler with ice with some drinks and snacks, and a good can-do attitude!

Half Day Trip with Captain Lewis

I had an amazing trip with Right Side Charters and Captain Lewis. Captain Lewis was very knowledgeable and knew all the spots to get the fish on my hook. He was extremely helpful and answered any questions I had. He was also able to get me hooked up and catch my first amberjack! I highly recommend booking with Right Side Charters and Captain Lewis if you want to have a great time and limit out on some fish.

My wife and I wanted an easy going captain and charter for some fishing as well as taking in some sights. The fishing was great and buddy handled everything. We trolled by Crab Island as well as the harborwalk. He was very knowledgeable about the area and this was a really great way to take in the destin area from a water view. Most exciting of all we had a dolphin come right up to the boat to say hi. Fantastic trip, very kind and professional captain. Great for a couple or families with kids. If you are looking for a good all around trip, this is your guy. He even cleaned up a couple of fish for us to take to dinner. Thank Buddy, we hope to book again.

Captain Buddy - Did Not Disappoint

3 Hour – Bay (AM) on June 21, 2022 • 2 adults • 1 child

Captain Buddy was a great host & made our son’s first fishing trip a memorable one. We did a 3 hr Bay Trip & it was the perfect amount of time to check out several locations and catch a variety of fish (snapper, speckled trout, redfish) and a BIG one that snapped the line and got away. While some were not slotted to keep, all were fun to catch & we were able to keep enough for lunch. Captain Buddy was extremely patient with our son and even let him “drive the boat” for a little bit. We’d definitely recommend & will be repeat customers on our next trip down.

We really enjoyed our trip out with captain Buddy. He has a great boat and equipment, and moved us around to several good spots in the bay where we had plenty of action. We caught several redfish and black drum and even latched on to a good sized one that broke off at the boat😳. Buddy took time to include our kids with conversation and facts about our bait, fish, and surroundings. I am not sure I could have picked a better charter or captain in the area. A+
