Hottuna Hurghada Fishing Charter 

Ich hatte in meinem Urlaub einige schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht (die nichts mit der Angeltour zu tun hatten!), wodurch ich anfänglich stark skeptisch war. Jedoch war diese Sorge völlig unbegründet. Es war ein unglaublich schöner Tag! Ich wurde morgens am Hotel eingesammelt und als wir am Boot ankamen, durfte ich mir eins der beiden Boote aussuchen, weil an diesem Tag nicht beide gebucht waren. Auf Empfehlung ging es mit dem schnellem raus aus Wasser. Zuerst haben wir ein wenig schleppfischen gemacht und den ersten Barrakuda gefangen. anschließend ging es zum Köderfischangeln um uns fürs Grundfischen zu wappnen. Dies erstellte sich als schwierig an diesem Tag. Anschließend haben wir einen Spot angefahren und auf Schnapper, Drückerfisch und Rotbarsch geangelt. Die Frequenz war super, jedoch blieben an dieser Stelle. die großen Fische aus. Beim anschließendem Jiggen auf Bernsteinmakrelekam kam ich persönlich an meine Grenzen und lernte, dass sich die Jig-Methode stark von der mir bekannten unterschied. Meine Arme brannten und deshalb wurde der Angelspot gewechselt. Eine Bernsteinmakrele wurde gefangen und somit der Zielfisch erfolgreich abgeharkt. Wir fuhren noch einige andere Spots an und waren länger unterwegs, als ursprünglich geplant. Auf dem Weg zurück stieg auch noch großer Barrakuda ein, welcher jedoch nicht von mir gelandet werden konnte. Das war etwas Schade, aber so ist es nunmal beim angeln. Sowas kann passieren. Ich wurde herzlichst begleitet, voll versorgt, tatkräftig unterstützt und in den Angelmethoden im Roten Meer unterrichtet. Auch haben alle versucht das maximum an Erfolgserlebnissen aus der Tour rauszuholen. Ich bin begeistert und würde gerne wieder mit euch hinausfahren zum angeln. Jedem der sich unsicher ist, ob das die richtige Tour ist, dem kann ich nur sagen: Ja, macht das. So herzliche Menschen, die alles tun damit der Tag ein voller Erfolg wird habe ich selten getroffen. Aus diesem Grund möchte ich mich an dieser Stelle noch einmal herzlichst Bedanken und freue mich auf ein Wiedersehen!

Was für ein großartiger Tag! 🎣 Ich hatte unglaublich viel Spaß und habe mich auf dem Boot von Anfang an richtig wohlgefühlt. Das Boot ist klasse und der Kapitän einfach super – sympathisch, entspannt und mit viel Erfahrung. Wir haben richtig tolle Fische gefangen und hatten dabei jede Menge Spaß. Genau solche Tage bleiben in Erinnerung! 😍 Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis – ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Freue mich jetzt schon auf das nächste Mal! 🎣🐟

Journée magnifique de pêche au gros à Hurghada ! Équipe au top, professionnelle et sympathique du début à la fin. Bateau et matériel impeccables, spots de pêche excellents. Petit-déjeuner, repas, café et goûter parfaits tout au long de la journée. Une prestation vraiment complète et soignée, qui n’a rien à envier aux pêches au gros de l’océan Indien. Je recommande à 100% ! Amazing day of big game fishing in Hurghada! Top-notch crew, friendly and professional from start to finish. Boat and equipment in excellent condition, great fishing spots. Breakfast, meals, coffee and snacks were all spot on throughout the day. A truly complete and well-run experience, easily on par with big game fishing trips in the Indian Ocean. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing fishing trip with Hot Tuna as a family of five: my wife and I, our two boys aged 8 and 7, and our one-and-a-half-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, everyone except me became seasick, but the crew did absolutely everything they could to make the trip unforgettable and get the best out of the situation. They were incredibly flexible, adapted to all our needs and remained friendly, patient and professional throughout the entire trip. Despite the seasickness, we still managed to catch several different fish, which made the experience even more special. It was truly a memorable trip, and I would definitely book with Hot Tuna again in the future. Highly recommended, especially because of the fantastic and caring crew!

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Angelausflug mit der Hot Tuna! Der Trip war absolut perfekt organisiert und die Kinder hatten riesigen Spaß. Die Crew war super nett und hat wirklich alles gegeben, um uns zum Fisch zu bringen. Auch kulinarisch wurden wir bestens versorgt: Das Essen an Board war sehr lecker, und Getränke sowie frisches Obst gab es bis zum Abwinken. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Wir würden uns an Board etwas mehr Sauberkeit in der Kajüte, der Toilette und auf den Sitzflächen wünschen. Insgesamt aber ein unvergesslicher Tag und eine klare Empfehlung!

had a fantastic day. Atef is a very friendly guy that loves what he does. His sidekick the Doctor is one of the most knowledgeable fisherman I have ever met. He fished across the globe and is a truly fantastic guy to talk to. We had little luck but Atef and the crew went really beyond what I expected. We tried it for over 12 hrs and we left because I had to go back. They probably would have stayed until dark to make it happen. my goal was yellowfin tuna and sailfish not the easiest target species in late april to be fair. they had deep see rigs on board and we ve cought 3 giant squid and 3 white snapper. Brought the catch home and fed the family.

what an amazing day with Captain Atef and crew. Hooked into a very large wahoo but unfortunately lost it before landing a couple of baracuda and several coral trout before we ate them for lunch with a fresh salad and nan breads. After lunch we lost a massive coral trout before landing a tremendous GT and finishing with a King mackerel that was “taxed” by a shark. A fantastic day and thanks to Captain Atef, Said and Mahmoud. From the moment we stepped on board, everything was perfectly organised. Atef was incredibly welcoming and clearly very experienced—he made sure we were comfortable, well looked after, and fully set up for a great day of fishing. The trip itself was outstanding. We headed out into beautiful open water with calm conditions and incredible views. The boys absolutely loved it—especially the excitement of catching fish and being part of the whole experience. The crew were patient, helpful, and great with the kids, making it enjoyable for everyone on board. We managed to catch a variety of fish, and even got to see how the catch is prepared, which added an extra level of authenticity to the day. The equipment was top quality, the boat was clean and spacious, and there was always someone ready to help or give advice. What really made the trip special was the atmosphere—relaxed, friendly, and genuinely fun. It wasn’t just a fishing trip, it was a proper family experience and one we’ll remember for a long time. The captain Atef and the crew members were professional and enthusiastic throughout the journey. They patiently guided us on fishing techniques and adjusted our gear in a timely manner. We had a great catch with several skipjack tuna and needlefish, though it was a pity that we missed some bites multiple times. The fun of the process far outweighed the results. A big thank you to the whole team for their thoughtful help. It was such a wonderful fishing memory and I highly recommend this trip!
