Captain Ren was amazing. He specifically asked what we were looking to get out of it and delivered! We just wanted to fish, which was my birthday wish. We all fished when young with other adults, and Captain Ren was the perfect guide for our level of experience. We caught a ton of fish and even some not so common ones for the spot we were at! He was pleasant, and took his time. We didn’t feel rushed at all. My son loved it, though he lost interest within 30 mins and took over as “co-captain” telling us how to do it and observing. Captain Ren took pictures for us, and was so kind as well as patient. He even spotted dolphins for us and let us watch for several minutes. We would definitely book again!

Thank you for the review Justin! Hope to have your family aboard again in the future!

This was our second trip with Captan Rennie and we didn’t think he could top our trip from last year when we caught a 7 LB black drum. We didn’t catch any BIG fish this time around, but the trip did not disappoint. We got to see lots of dolphin, a mantatee, caught lots of small fish, even a few sharks and a sting ray. Highly recommend his tour if your family is looking for something fun to do while in Carolina Beach.

Kathleen thank you for the review. What an amazing 2 hrs on the water! Even the strong winds keeping us off the ocean couldn't hold you guys back. Seeing that manatee come right beside the boat was something no other charter has experienced in my 20 years of chartering! Another first was seeing that huge southern stingray you caught give live birth on my boat!....so cool! Seeing dolphins twice was a bonus as well. Also, watching your kids exucute our plan of catching croaker to use for shark bait was awesome. Nice work releasing the 2 big black tip sharks you guys caught.. they gave you guys a heck of a fight! Hope to see you again next year...you guys bring good luck! Tight lines, Capt Rennie and Camille
Captain Rene and Camille were great with our boys ages (4) and (7). Both of them are great with encouraging the kids to keep trying and how to reel and catch fish. They understood exactly our intent was not to catch the biggest fish, but to give the boys a great experience fishing. Our boys are still talking about our youngest catching 9 fish and our oldest catching a big sea bass. We would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to get out with small kids!

Thank you for the review Carlton! Hope to see you guys again in the future!
“Best day ever.” is how my 6 year old son described his experience.. my 7 year old daughter loved it as well and they have both asked if we could go back again. We all loved it!

Thank you for the kind review Ashley! Camille and I enjoyed having you and your family aboard today!

our experience with Capt. Rennie was great! We caught plenty of fish while having a great time. I would recommend this fishing trip to anyone!
