The captain fishes out of a 24' 2003 Bay Stealth center console that can sit up to 5 anglers. It runs on a 225 HP Yamaha four stroke outboard and is equipped with a fishfinder to easily locate your targets and a livewell to provide live bait.
Using both light and heavy tackle, you and the captain can bottom fish, troll, jig, as well as drift fish in order to attract your prey. The species you'll target include Striped and White Bass, Catfish, and Crappie. Both you and the crew can keep the fish you catch but you're free to release your if you want to. Kids are welcome to join your trip, so feel free to bring them with you and enjoy a lovely family stay in beautiful and interesting surroundings.
Captain Connor will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. If you choose to keep your catch, he offers to clean and fillet it for you, at no extra cost. Before you leave, just make sure to bring snacks, drinks, and fishing licenses.

Half Day Trip on April 11, 2025 • 2 adultsConnor called right away to confirm details and let me know that his dad, Randy, would be guiding us that day. It's a family business, and Connor had to work a different job that day. Connor was very responsive, and although I'm sure he's a great guide, I'd want Randy again if and when we come back. He showed us all the great spots and, although we missed a few fish right away, we eventually caught a giant striper—my first ever! We caught a 4-foot gar and few sand bass later in the day, though things died down quite a bit after 8am. Still, Randy had some good stories to tell, and that one striper made the trip worthwhile. Randy said crappie trips can be hit-or-miss this time of year. They apparently offer catfish trips as well, but Randy mentioned that he needs advance notice if you want to target those specifically.

Overall I think I was able to understand the techniques and appreciate our success despite not getting a lot of action. But when we did, it happened fast and furious. 10 pounders are nothing to sneeze at. 🙌
