Enjoy a fun day of fishing together with Liberty Charters. Starting out of Oak Harbor, Ohio, your friendly and experienced captains will take you to Lake Erie and provide excellent guiding service. If you happen to be in Oak Harbor, use this opportunity and explore the lake’s beautiful fishing grounds full of interesting species to catch. Pick your day and have a lovely time on the water!
The boat you’ll be using is either a 30’ Laux aluminum fishing boat that can sit up to 8 guests, or a 30’ Sport Craft. Both boats run on a 390 HP Mercury engine and are equipped with all the modern GPS, radar, fishfinder, and radio technology in order to provide a safe, quick, and efficient trip to the fish and back. The boats also have an ice-box to store your catch and are equipped with portable toilets you can use.
The species you’ll be targeting on your trip are Walleye, Yellow Perch, or Smallmouth Bass. You’ll attract them by trolling and jigging on light tackle and you can decide if you’ll keep or release the fish you catch.
Your guide will provide you with all the fishing rods, tackle, reels, live bait, as well as lures. Before you start the trip, you’ll only need your fishing licenses and some snacks and drinks.

Capt Brandon and his wife were great guides to catch Walleye and educated us on how to get a charter ready. They totally got all of us involved with putting out lines, setting up the poles and catching fish! We stayed active the entire trip with setting out lines and catching walleye. It was a great trip for all 7 of us (2 guys that have never fished before are ready to come back). We would definitely come back next year.

Great time!
Robert was amazing! 8 of us were celebrating my husband’s bd with 3 grandsons who had never fished before. We all caught fish and Robert is super nice and helpful. Although it was a slow day with the fish, we all caught fish and had an amazing time. We will be back again!!!

This charter was a class act. The captain Brandon and his lovely wife are a great team. They kept us on fish all day and were very patient with the 4 kids we had with us. I would recommend this charter to everyone interested in a trip of a lifetime!

Had a great time-was a party of seven.
We caught walleye, yellow perch and catfish. Got a few no keeps. Had a great 4 hours from 8am-12pm. Can't wait to go again! Felt really safe with the coast guard captain Robert.
