Richards’ Fishing Charters is located in North Charleston and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters.
Capt. Jonathan will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Grouper, Seabass, Snapper, Amberjack, Redfish, and Sheepshead, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, drift fishing, and jigging.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 23’ Key West boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a wireless trolling motor.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

Perfect Captain for Fishing Trip

Boat is a little beauty, and the captian
Jhonny was very knowledgeable about the perfect spots to fish at any time of day, any time of year. Not only has he shown everyone a great view on the creek we fishes at but made sure the fish were biting before hand. He conversated with everyone not making it feel like he’s doing a job, but more like hes making us feel like we his family. Fising since he was 3, he has alot to learn from and he’s not one to sit quiet and let you make mistakes. He will tell you how to cast, reel, the way to pull and how to angle yourself to not let the fish off the like. Everyone on Board has caught a fish, the biggest being 28 inches. I will be most definitely be boarding with him again.

Capt Richard’s is the man I’m telling you. My boy and I caught over 50 in 2 hours of work with live and artificial lures. He even let me use my own tackle and let us be autonomous with what we were doing.

We booked last minute fishing trip and Captain Jonathan did not disappoint. He put us on huge red drum along with lots of other fish. Great experience and we will definitely book him again. He's knowledgeable and very professional.
