OBT Charters is located in Corpus Christi and offers bay saltwater fishing charters for all ages. Capt. Albert Soliz is a kid-friendly, CPR-certified, bilingual, and professional angler. He enjoys taking families out to experience a nice day on the water as well as meeting new people daily. Half day, wade, and large company fishing trips are also available. Capt. Albert Soliz has been fishing over 10 yrs in corpus christi.
Capt. Albert will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, and Speckled Trout, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, popping, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 23' Haynie boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat comes with a wireless trolling motor.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

Albert was amazing, knowledgeable and made our trip so much fun! He was funny and has a great personality that just made the entire experience that much more memorable. I dont have enough positive things to say about the trip and Albert. we cannot wait to book another trip!
Capt Albert was fun since before we left the marina. He made sure he told us about safety precautions before headed out and had waters and even some snacks for us! Nothing but laughs the whole day. Besides that, we we're on some big reds. This was the first time I've caught a big red like this, but was too big we had to throw it back. I'm definitely going out with him again....you won't regret it either if you choose him.

Captain Albert Soliz is one hell of a guide that knows the waters he fishes like the back of his hand. I have fished with him on numerous occasions. We did very well and most of all, he makes fishing fun!! He has a very nice boat with plenty of room to fish. When ready to catch redfish, trout or drum give him a call asap!!!

We had a great time fishing the women's tournament and caught plenty of fish! Capt. Albert is patient, knows exactly where to take us and keeps us laughing the whole day. All around great experience that we look forward to every summer!! Patiently waiting for summer 2022!
