Your boat for the day will be a 2026 23' Hayne Cat fishing boat fit to carry up to 4 guests. It's powered by a 175 HP Mercury engine and equipped with modern GPS electronics that will help everybody have a quick and efficient reach to the fish and back.
Using light tackle, you and the captain will be searching Texan bountiful flats for Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Black Drum. If you want to, you're free to keep the fish you catch and prepare some tasty meals for you and your loved ones.
When it comes to things needed for the trip, Captain Ruben will take care of all the fishing rods, reels, tackle, as well as live bait. In case you want to keep your catch, he also offers to clean it and fillet it for you after the trip, at no extra cost. Before you depart, just make sure to bring your drinks, snacks, and fishing licenses.

daughter worked last weekend for farhers day and this weekend was my bday so she planned a nice fishing trip out with rueben. and let me tell u we had the best ime of our life. he knew all the hot spots for fish. if we werent catching within 15 mins he was moving us around and making sure we were happy with things. he made it his goal to make sure i got a red drum and man did he deliver. we caught a total of 18 fish. 3 red drums, 5 gafftop, 3 trout, and 7 flatheads. but we only kept 9 total fish. we kept 2 reds, 5 gafftop, and 2 trout. it was the most fish we ever caught in 1 day. but dude this was a 4 hour trip ao to catxh that many had me and duaghter smiling ear to ear. we ded are coming back to have him as our captain. his personality is a big plus as well. overall thia was the best fishing experience i have ever had and im 41, and done many fishing trip before this one.... this was the most memorable one for me for sure.

Highly recommend Capt. Ruben! He was supper accommodating and most importantly he knew exactly where the fish were! My son and I had a great day catching redfish and speckled trout. It felt like not even 5-10 minutes went by the whole morning without a bite or a landed fish...Would definitely use again.

Great experience. Captain Reuben put us right on the reds and we left with some nice sized fish. I would highly recommend.

Capt Ruben really put us on the fish! Day was cold, windy and slow all morning, but Capt kept us out longer to make sure we got our limit of Reds and a couple Black Drum. Will definitely use Capt Ruben again!
