JOB Fishing Charters is located in Port Clinton and offers to show you a memorable time on Lake Erie. Come experience fishing on the fourth-largest lake of the five Great Lakes and its fantastic ecosystem. It offers more consumable fish than all the other Great Lakes together. Whether you're a seasoned angler or beginner, Captain Jason O'Brien will tailor the trip for your wishes.

Captain Jason will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 6-hour trips, mainly fishing for Walleye, Perch, Bass, and Rainbow Trout, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning. Feel free to keep your catch as well as to bring kids aboard.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 34' Weldcraft pilothouse boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet, kitchen, shower, and bed, as well as air-conditioning, refrigerator, ice-box, and wireless trolling motor. It also uses a livewell, outriggers, and downriggers.

All rods, reels, terminal tackle, live bait, and lures are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time and bring any snacks and drinks you want.

6 Hour Trip – 3-4 Anglers on April 14, 2023 • 3 adults

Being mid April , Captain Jason O'brien took us to the reefs in the Western Basin to Jig Fish.  With 1 ounce hair jigs, we caught 8 larger than normal Walleye,2.5lbs to 4lbs.  Then, we moved on to trolling with planner boards. We caught 10 more to reach our limit, and they were even bigger, 3.5lb to 7.5lb fish....  Unique time of year when you can Jig Fish and Troll "with the right Captain" in the same day and be productive.  Thanks to Jason O'brien / JOB Fishing Charters for putting us on top of the fish.  Hard to find a nicer, more comfortable boat too.   Weldcraft 300 Cuddy King with 850 HP, and trolling motor.

Great Day and fantastic boat

The six of us had a great day fishing.  It was right in the middle of the mayfly hatch so the fishing was tough.  It took a little while but the captain kept working and put us on the fish. We put 22 in the boat.  Biggest was 27" walleye.  The boat had plenty of room for the six of us.  Definitely will use him again.
