956 Salty Waders is located in Rio Hondo and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. Hop on board with Capt. DLS for some fun shallow water fishing in the Lower Laguna Madre Arroyo City area.
Capt. DLS will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 6-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish and Speckled Trout, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, drift fishing with his own made artificial bait WICKED PADDLE TAILS. Waders are welcome.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 2024 - 21’ Shallow Master boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box.
All rods, reels, soft plastic lures, and tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. Captain DLS will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with drinks and snacks
for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

Fishing trip with Captain De Los Santos and the boys
Booked a half day trip with CPT DLS and it was definitely worth the time and energy. The trip had plenty of keeper fish as well as other catches. Very entertaining and enjoyable trip, his boat is clean and maintained very professionally, we definitely felt very well taken care off. CPT DLS is very engaging and helpful with tips and techniques and also amazing action shots with awesome pictures and videos . I will definitely be coming back with my friends again in and again after that.
