Capt. Joshua will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Black Drum, Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, King Mackerel, Trout, Sharks, and Snapper, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, jigging, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 21' Yamaha 210 Fish Sport boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet, an ice-box, and a wireless trolling motor.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

6 Hour Trip Am - Private on November 30, 2024 • 4 adultsDespite being a brisk morning, the wind and waves were no trouble. Captain Josh’s Yamaha FSH kept us dry as a desert with high walls that kept all the wake splashing out. He took us to a great spot, taught us some good technique and explained fish behavior. We had a fun day with good action from red and black drum. You could fish the gulf coast your whole life and still learn a ton of new things from charter captains, and Captain Josh was very exceptional in his field. The trolling motor, a Minn Kota Terrova, was a beast and had us positioned with ease for hours. If you’re reading my review and are having trouble deciding on a charter (that was me too), try Second to None Charters. It was worth it and we’ll be reaching back out to Captain Josh Estes next time we’re in Port O’Connor.

First 2hrs in was sad, then Capt Josh out of the ordinary, did something, thinking outside the box, something he never done, and the rest is history! I sure would recommend anyone to Second to None charter fishing!

Captain Josh put us on fish pretty quickly with our summer inland fishing trip. Reds, Specs, Black Drum, Flounder, a black tip. Lots of under sized, but the catch was fun. Back at the dock the gentlemen cleaning the fish said that at 3PM we had the largest haul of reds for the day. While that is subjective it is a testament to Captain Josh's ability to find them. I would recommend Captain Josh for your if you are looking for a good Port O' trip. He is very knowledgeable and worked very hard to get us on the bite. We plan on using him again in the future.

It started a little slow, captain moved around we caught some trout. We moved again found redfish caught a few, we could see the fish they just wouldn't bite. We then went shark fishing, wow it was fun. I will be back, if you want a guide that will find fish give Josh a call.

Celebrated my sons 20th birthday in early September. Even wit the warm water and the fish really not wanting to eat we had a blast. Captain still put us on some fish and wehad a grat time. Thanks for the memories. untl next time.

Josh did a great job of trying to get us on fish. The fish failed to cooperate but its called fishing not catching. If Iwas to do it again, I would get up early and fish the morning.
