Make the most of your time in the Maldives and go fishing with Maldives Liveaboard. With Captain Ali at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Tuna, Dusky Grouper, Rainbow Runner, Wahoo, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Coral Trout, Bohar Snapper, Giant Trevally, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Catch cleaning is available.
Capt. Ali will bring you aboard an 100' Motor Yacht with room for 20 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are not covered by the charter, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation. Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Kids are welcome aboard. It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. There will be drinks and food on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
