Ready to fish bigger waters and land bigger fish? Capt. Josh's Offshore Charters is federally permitted to take you farther offshore, right where the real action happens.

With trips ranging from 4 to 18 hours, there's something for everyone, from quick outings to hardcore offshore adventures. Drop lines for Snapper and Grouper, or troll for aggressive King Mackerel and trophy pelagics like Sailfish, Tuna, and Marlin off South Padre Island. You'll mix it up with techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, popper casting, and slow-pitch jigging; no two trips feel the same.

You'll head out on a 30' Albemarle Express, a top-tier offshore fishing machine known for its smooth, dry ride and serious performance. Cruising at 30 knots, it gets you to the fish fast, so you spend less time traveling and more time reeling them in.

Comfort meets capability with a roomy layout, enclosed helm, and a ride that handles offshore conditions with ease. This boat is built to fish hard while keeping you comfortable all day long.

Outfitted with cutting-edge electronics, radar, GPS anchor, autopilot, and fish-finding tech, plus high-end Penn and Shimano gear that's maintained and refreshed each season, you'll be fully equipped for success.

Best of all? No surprises. Capt. Josh keeps it straightforward; fuel, bait, drinks, parking, and fish cleaning are all included. Just bring your Texas saltwater fishing license and your sense of adventure.

Grab your crew, bring the family, and get ready to make unforgettable memories on the water.

Absolute blast!
Half Day Trip on April 23, 20264 adults

Highly anticipated trip and it did not disappoint! 🐟 Josh put us on over 50 red snapper (7 keepers!) and gave great local advice. White Sands restaurant for the win on cooking them up! He definitely knows his fishing, the waters and where to catch! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can’t wait to book again. Thanks for an incredible day Josh!

Hammered the snapper!
Full Day Trip on February 28, 20262 adults

Captain Josh put us on the fish today!! We caught so many snapper our arms were getting tired! The snapper were big ones too. Josh was great - he kept the poles baited, got the fish in the boat & then released them all afternoon after we limited out. We'd do it again if we can get the time.

12 for 12, limited out in 2 hours!
Full Day Trip on October 13, 20251 adult1 child

We limited out on state snappers in less than 2 hours, 3 person group. Captain Josh was very kind to my family and had the patience with my noob fishing relatives. He was very safe and explained processes when necessary. The boat was kepted very clean and ran well, even during the catching feast, housekeeping was maintained. the boat was not loud and he even asked us if we would like music played to our liking. I will use Captain Josh every year when in the SPI area.

Captain Josh was very friendly and took great care of us. Hit the Snapper early and got our limit. The trolling was really slow but we did end up getting one King Mackrel.

Welcome aboard! I'm Capt Josh Zachman, a deep-sea fishing guide with a wealth of experience and a formal education in Fisheries Science. My career has taken me to the waters of six continents and over 30 countries, where I've honed my expertise in the art and science of offshore angling. While I've had the privilege of pursuing trophy catches in some of the world's most breathtaking locations, my true passion lies in sharing this knowledge and excitement with others. Whether you're an experienced angler seeking new challenges or a novice eager to learn the ropes, I take great pleasure in guiding individuals of all skill levels towards memorable and successful fishing experiences. One aspect of my work that brings me particular joy is introducing kids to the wonders of fishing. There's something magical about witnessing their excitement as they reel in their first big catch or learn how to tie their first fishing knot. It's these moments that truly make every expedition unforgettable. On my boat, I strive to cultivate an environment that feels less like a guided expedition and more like a day out with friends. With my expertise in fishing and a genuine passion for the sport, I aim to blend professionalism with a laid-back atmosphere, where clients feel at ease and excited to cast their lines. Whether it's swapping stories about past catches, sharing tips and tricks, or simply enjoying the serenity of the open water, I ensure that every moment on board is filled with camaraderie and laughter. Together, we create memories that extend beyond the thrill of the catch, that make every trip feel like a reunion among friends.
